Puck is a weekly webcomic that, in the words of one fan, is "mostly irreverent humor concerning a pretty girl with freckles and a hot she-devil who wears fan-service costumes." Surreal fantasy slice-of-life crazy-type stuff about the world's funniest redhead! Updates Tuesday.
Just some good ole gender reversal here. It now occurs to me that this joke would be entirely unfunny if the dialogue boxes were switched between the characters.
Enh, kind of varies. Besides, I’m not confident of the passage of time in this comic. Average time from first date to touchdown over here might be one or two months for most university students.
There is a concept of a “Third Date Rule”, which is obviously not enforceable, and dudes trying to demand sexual favours by invoking it are obviously @-holes…
…But the basic idea is that, by the third date, there should be some degree of affectionate bodily contact (if not coitus)… or else if after three dates there’s still no sparks of interest flying, you should amicably go your separate ways and find someone else you DO have a sexual attraction to.
Used properly in that context, it’s actually not such a bad guideline.
… Wait… they haven’t shagged yet?
Actually, I seem to recall something about the whole “dating” concept on that side of the Atlantic being particularly… drawn out.

That… seems… maddening.
So far as I’m aware, the average from “first date to touchdown” here (not that we have touchdowns) is… two dates.
Then again, most of the experience I’ve had with anything resembling the topic has begun online… so things play out differently.
US culture says three…

That does make sense. Seems logical.
Experience generally precedes leveling up.
The Colonel’s experience on this, a little farther back, was that it was about six weeks. But he was not in a hurry.
In RPGs, yes. Six weeks sounds about right.
