I’ll take the opportunity here to note that small breasts are REALLY hard to draw convincingly – especially when covered with goo.
The ancient Greeks and Romans managed it just fine though.
Heck… just looking at old sculptures and stuff always left me wondering how their women could have enough body-fat to achieve a bit of a bulge here and there and yet still have such exceptionally tiny tits…
… until I realised the obvious, anyway.
Sexual selection, duh. If men (on average) prefer them bigger, and have done for enough time, then they’ve been breeding more with bustier women and shifting the baseline towards greater size…… which if viewed in reverse would imply that they used to be smaller, proportionally.
Or to put it another way, your Puck there is probably small-of-chest because she is a few centuries old… and the human form has … advanced since then. =p

If the guy paying for statues (or murals) didn’t want them big-breasted, the guy making the statues (or murals) wouldn’t make them big-breasted.
Don’t have to look far into the webcomic world to see THAT factor in action, huh?
Not quite, big breasts is as much a fad as small breasts have been, both are ideal at different time periods of each culture. It’s not a human trait to desire large breasts (or small ones).
On that same note, I prefer my breasts to be whatever they are, but hate both fake and large breasts, though not hate in equal proportions, but rather hate in varying degrees. My desired breast type is based on the body shape and type and size of the person in question. On that same note, my focus is generally not what is beneath the shirt, but what is beneath the skirt. Skirts not shirts.
Normalish proportions FTW. Anything ridiculously extreme never sits well with me. Never has.
I like them round and proportionate.. not a fan of huge sizes or synthetic, but honestly I’m more of a fan of the derriere to begin with sooooo.. meh.

Word to the wise: Women who are somewhat tall, somewhat flat, somewhat (or more than somewhat) intelligent when they are 18 to 19, more often than not fill out and become insanely hot, yet easy to get along with, in their early twenties. No one told me this. I wish they did. ON THE OTHER HAND – Puck is over 600 !!
