Puck is a weekly webcomic that, in the words of one fan, is "mostly irreverent humor concerning a pretty girl with freckles and a hot she-devil who wears fan-service costumes." Surreal fantasy slice-of-life crazy-type stuff about the world's funniest redhead! Updates Tuesday.
In the interest of full, total honesty, they’re all teases. None of them ‘deliver the goods,’ as it were. The ‘fake-out’ voting incentive pics are a long tradition of this comic. They’re always funny, but never naked.
I appreciate the honesty, I still plan on supporting you even if its just a tease :P. I’m only interested in nudes from an artistic viewpoint or if I have some sort of bond with the person. And let me tell you your comic really has hit home with me and I feel pretty close to most of the characters keep up the good work sir.
Well, Kenno over at ‘My Life With Fel’ has tied that sort of content to a Patreon account, and he’s bringing in over $500 a comic right now. Which is insane. But yeah, I’m not sure I’d ever want to break that PG-13 rating with Puck. I might skirt close to the edge, but not sure I’ll ever go over it…
Nah. From what I’ve seen, no one really wants it. I could always register for Cafe Press or something like that, but the prices are always astronomical, and I hate making people pay thirty bucks for a t-shirt, and having them think that it’s supporting me when, in reality, I make fifty cents on the transaction. And besides, I just think there are few takers out there. I have no trouble getting people to read my stuff for free, but it’s the internet. When real money enters into the picture, everyone backs away. Which is understandable. I mean, I’m the same way. But I really don’t want to put in weeks of work creating an online store for merch when no one will buy it.
The old incentive pics (most of them, anyway) are available for download from the store (the combo pack has most of them), though I’m currently working on assembling them into a PDF book that people can download and look through easier.
What is the link to the part of the store that has the past incentives available for download? And is there any parts of the comic where it shows full nudity? if there’s not, will you ever start making the comic have more nudity?
Some of the old incentive pics are available in the PDF incentive collection for $5 listed above as a digital download. But none of them contain real, actual nudity. The comic’s not exactly a family comic, but I always keep things vaguely PG-13, so I doubt the comic would be going in that direction any time soon.
Well, at the moment I only have the voting incentives from 2011-2014 in the voting incentive PDF. I tried updating the PDF collection with the pics from 2015, but it takes a ton of work and frankly, seeing how no one buys much of this stuff, I lost the energy and time to finish it off. Then it was suddenly halfway through 2016 and I gave up.
I’m thinking of maybe starting a Patreon thing where any support gets you full access to the incentives archive (which, honestly, is sizable now, with, like, 150 pics or something). I don’t know, though. If I set up Patreon, it’s probably going to be another situation where it takes me a month of hard work to set up and no one will opt in. I hate to have pessimistic, self-defeating thinking, but it’s hard to break the cycle when I’m always right.
Uh, there ARE stickers at my Teepublic store, if you click on the t-shirt like. Every design can be generated as a sticker, I think. Though I also think they’re a bit pricey for stickers. And the images really weren’t designed for that. So maybe I DO need to look at generating some stickers.
I’ve said no in the past, mainly because of a time limitation. With my day job, I struggle to even get the comic out on a weekly basis. So I’d like to, but the hours just don’t add up.
There were plans. The plans fell through when sales for volume one were close to non-existent. You have one of very copies in existence, I can safely say.
Enh, I tried not to take it too hard. It seems the desire for print copies is a bit of a niche thing. I did a poll on Patreon a few years ago, asking how many people were interested in a print book for volume two, and the overwhelming majority response was “not really, but thanks for asking”. And these are people who do like the comic. They like it enough to throw me a bit of money every month! So I tried not to take it personally; it’s just print not being as much of a thing for lots of people, I guess.
I really enjoy Puck.Keep up the good work.
Thanks, man. Glad you like it.
Are you going to release Daphne Goodfellow vs. the world as a digital exclusive?
I have no idea what I’ll do with that. It’ll likely be in the print copy, when it goes to print.
Love Puck. Thanks for making these sets available.
Well, thanks for making a purchase! It’s not much, but it’s a little way I can say ‘thanks’ for people supporting the site.
Is there actual full frontal nudity as advertised in these? If so I am totally sold.

(although I do hope you will consider a non tease bundle :P)

Don’t even think of it until you’re a Pensioner. If you catch my drift.
And not even then.
We all love Puck just as she is.
Any plans in the works in the future for merchandise? Coffee mugs, T-shirts, Polo shirts, etc?

Where are these pictures that are mentioned on the pages of past strips???????

Love this strip man!
Aw, thanks!

How do we get to see all of the voting incentives? Is that one whole purchase?

Hi, can you please contact me about the Flash book that you have for sale? Thanks.
Will do. Email sent.
Do you ever plan on making a Papa Schnorf tee for sale? I would love to have one!
Not a bad idea! Though I’d have to give the design some thought.
how about him wearing a flower crown and “Prince Among Men” underneath him?
I’d buy that.
… for a dollar.
WE WANT STICKERS!
@Buggle
So nice to have you back !
(began to wonder if you had a batch of Bad Absinthe)
But YEAH YEAH YEAH !
I’m think’in a Sticker with Robin & Phoebe might be kewl.
Or one with Satan and TRACEEE.
Not too sexy – but mebe a little.
STICKERS !!!!!!!

We will buy stickers.
Remember when Satan was leaving the Theatre with Phoebe ?
Something like that could be a fave for me.
SUGGESTIONS – PEOPLE !!!!
(anything too sexy BALDIE will never allow. Janet would clean his P3cker with a Potato Peeler)
Honestly , tho – TRACEEE with “Visit Howlers” might fly.
Stickers need to be simple or they are not recognizable at any distance.
Yeah, just a face or something like that. I dunno. I’ll maybe see what I can do.
Do you do commissions?
I’ve said no in the past, mainly because of a time limitation. With my day job, I struggle to even get the comic out on a weekly basis. So I’d like to, but the hours just don’t add up.
Puck vol 1 is terrific. I need puck vol 2 now!

That is sad. I shall flog the masses to try to convince them of puck greatness.
