Puck is a weekly webcomic that, in the words of one fan, is "mostly irreverent humor concerning a pretty girl with freckles and a hot she-devil who wears fan-service costumes." Surreal fantasy slice-of-life crazy-type stuff about the world's funniest redhead! Updates Tuesday.
…who comported herself in the most harmless manner
seriously, i applaud her deceiving talents! she looks as if butter won´t melt in her mouth and obviously managed to pull the wool over her parents eyes so thoroughly that they´re more blind than her to their daughters true nature…..which is why i´m keeping my fingers crossed for them to meet phoebe. i mean, sweet natured or not, she´s still the daughter of satan working at hooters – not sure what would shock the parents more 😉 so we´d either get to see the mother of all ‘explanations’ – or an epic parental explosion to rival pucks temper
I doubt we’ll see Hannah’s family much. While a great target for satire, I’d be worried about wandering into the ‘mean-spirited parody’ trap. But the concept IS very fun.
I’m hearing a lot of talk, but nothing to really back it up. Daphne has evidence and a rap sheet. All I got from Hannah is a reference to a rollercoaster, a declaration of prom night prowling, and the confidence to brag about exploits that are, thus far, unseen by Puck readers…
I do sneer at preppy blond chick’s boasts. The commentators are attributing more to her legend.
I just thought of this. With Hannah coming from the “correct” type of family (ie: God-fearing and overly righteous), it -may- make Tyler’s mom a little less forbidding of him visiting Daphne…
(In my head-canon, I see Colin’s sister (can’t remember her name off the top of my head) being somewhat like Hannah in her teens).
Hannah has clearly learned that if you look innocent, you can get away with anything. I don’t know if we’re ready for Daphne to try that trick. What would innocent-appearing Daphne look like anyway?
“There was a roguish girl named Hannah,”
(feel free to add.)

[aside] Do I detect signs of maturation in the wee one?
I think you do. She no longer appears to toddle.
She’s been firmly in toddler size class for a while. Won’t shift from that for a long while.
How many different ways can you take “you really get around?”
Two.
Do a smell a potential spin-off series in the making ?
I can barely keep this one going. So likely not. But if time were not an issue, that’d be a fun idea.
“…Games of chess she would play,
While on the lam for the day,
And all of her friends could just stammer.”

she´s also wearing pink – if there is one thing harry potter taught us its that pnik-clad ladies are worse than all the supposed bad guys 😉
Hannah wouldn’t know that.
Valid. Too much pink energy is dangerous.
Well, let’s see. Let us see.
Ah c’mon, Gecko, “doth” is singular and “do(en?)” is plural, and you know that.
Hannah doesn’t.
Now now, use the King’s English, Hannah doth’nt! (The King’s English; been decades since that was last used, here it is again!)
Don’t you just love it when someone commits a verbal faux pas and tries to dig themselves out of the hole they dug? LOL.
My standard situation in life.
I just thought of this. With Hannah coming from the “correct” type of family (ie: God-fearing and overly righteous), it -may- make Tyler’s mom a little less forbidding of him visiting Daphne…

Or more critical of Daphne’s devilish manipulations of good people, like Tyler and that poor, but clearly intelligent, blind girl over there.
What is this evil wolf girl doing?
Tyler’s mom knows not of Hannah’s doings, so it’s unlikely to help.
Hannah has clearly learned that if you look innocent, you can get away with anything. I don’t know if we’re ready for Daphne to try that trick. What would innocent-appearing Daphne look like anyway?
Daphne couldn’t manage it. Not enough sweetness to even manage a veneer.
Hannah — “Daphne, now that we’re friends I’ve decided to make you my new project.”
Daphne — “You really don’t have to do that.”
Brad Williams would assure you that “Cute” is at least as powerful a get-out-of-blowback card as “Innocent”.
No one really thinks he’s innocent, but he IS freakin’ adorable, and he uses it shamelessly! 😀
Comic images are broken in Safari, happened a few days ago. Chrome still works.
Really? I’m in Safari right now and I’ve got no problems viewing the page.
Just checked Firefox too. Looks fine. Mobile and desktop.
Daphne has GOT to go todaddy and eploit this, um, ‘custoomer’s’ personality and do some business!
The Beach Boys!
I’m glad Daphne is being a good sport and staying nice to Hannah.
