JULY INCENTIVE ON TWC!!!
It’s fresh and summery and it’s something to do with mint or something. I dunno.
As for this comic…
Ugh. This comic required that redraw the room from a few new angles. That really lengthened the process a bunch. But it was necessary. Panel three really distorts the space to make the room look huge, but it’s needed to really communicate the isolation of that corner. Honestly, the rooms in this house seem to really vary in their dimensions depending on the needs of the story. Funny how that works.
It also seems like Satan has developed a taste for Dr. Spicy. Oh how the proud have been humbled.
Well, will he make it the official pop of Hamilton?
It probably already is. Hamilton can’t afford a name brand pop.
I totally forgot about the Buckeye News Award guy.
???
Colin didn’t even knock on the imaginary door before barging in, have some decorum Colin.
HEE! I Loves me some obscure Less Nessman comedy…
Ch-Eye Ch-Eye Rodreequayz
Ah poor Phoebe!
Are studio rents so high in Hamilton that she just can’t move out, so she can live with someone who respects her?
AFAIR, it is her flat.
She could. She has money. But it’s her home, so she is refusing to leave. Thus far.
Ahha conflicting feelings! The kindling of plot (or is it the tinder, or the fuel… Something to do with burning….)
Goddammit. Somebody did put Baby in a corner.
The universe can’t handle absolutes. To say that nobody puts the Baby in the corner, we’ll, you’re just tempting fate.
Overcrowded…Dr. Spicy…a special corner…oh, yeah, this place is Hell.
But a very grounded, normal type of hell.
Not going to lie, but seeing Phoebe literally having her own little corner of the world is somehow therapeutic to watch her recover herself in.
Hey, you do what you gotta do to survive.
I’m not sure if I should salute you for the excellent Starriors t-shirt or feebly shake my fist for making me feel so old.
I tried to give Colin a Starriors t-shirt about a year ago, but I had to bail because the property was so obscure and so old that there were no decent images online of the logo which I could vectorize. I went with Power Lords instead.
But this time I returned to Starriors, and someone had recently uploaded a good pic of the Starriors comic book on eBay. It still honestly took me about an hour of cleanup to get the logo looking right.
These are the things I do with my time. All so some fellow geezer can say, “Ooh, Starriors! That takes me back!” Mission accomplished, I guess?
Eh, don’t fret about it. I totally threw an obscure reference at Gecko referring to Phoebe’s invisible walls. I’m guessing that radio stations aren’t a big influence on Canadian TV.
I can imagine that tail of hers switching back and forth like a angry cat. The claws are about to come out.
Phoebe has no claws.
Pity.
And good thing it’s not a rocking chair.
In addition to the well-done background, that’s an impressive rear 3/4 profile view of Colin in panel 3.
I do hate drawing that angle. Hard to get it to look right.
You did fine.
That’s an interesting shirt Phoebe is wearing. I hope we get a better view without her arms in the way.
Maybe? We shall see.
If he can take it from someone, he’s good.
She’s not good. She’s going to be less good if Tracee does ANYTHING to her sewing machine.
True.
I suppose a home addition is unlikely . . . maybe Hannah could help, or Papa Shnorf . . . or perhaps Satan made some arrangement for Phoebe he’s forgotten about, some arrangement with MONEY MONEY MONEY . . . . we and she can only hope.
Home additions? A horrifying thought.
Good spotting! Panel 3, tail is to her left. Panel 4, tail is to her right.
Is there any chance Colin has learned her body language?
Hunh! That was supposed to be a reply to McManx.
Oh well, it’s called software because it’s soft.
Isn’t Puck like a Fairy or something. Can’t she or heck maybe even Devil Daddy use magic to turn a closet into another room or something? Lol poor Phoebe sleeping on the dirty dirty couch
She ain’t that kind of fairy. She’s the kind of fairy with an advanced coffee addition, a toddler and an adoptive daughter.
