NEW VOTING INCENTIVE! APRIL IS HERE!!
So the last image got all corrupted when I uploaded it, but I’ve got a new one! Nothing can go wrong with the new one, right?
As for this comic…
Not much to say. Been a rough week and a bit; going on a good ten days of having some wicked head cold that almost exclusively lives in my sinuses. It was not easy to get this comic done, but I did get it done.
No visits from the FBI here.
Yeah while it is nice to have some concern over Phoebe and her well being between her and her father maybe some family therapy is in order in the near future ? I mean it worked wonders for Puck.
Question with Puck is whether therapy has had no effect whatsoever, or whether she’d be fifty times crazier without it.
B. I vote B. Wait, was she in therapy? Possibly court ordered?
Oh, Hot Dog Guy. I’m sorry, I forgot. I hope his practice is going well.
She goes to the Hotdog Guy for therapy. Not confirmed as a court order, but possible.
Perhaps a strongly worded suggestion?
Thank you for pushing through and giving us another comic 🙂
Why don’t we have popcorn at city meetings? It’s not like popcorn machines are expensive, and the kernels are super cheap.
I hear that. Colds suck.
Popcorn was initially sold as a scam, really: a super-cheap food that could be sold for maximum profit. Why not capitalize on it?
I love how animated Miranda is, and just how cool Tracee is with being an aunt.
It’s so nice to see. She was so TINY. 🙂
She’s accepted the role.
She fought it, but Miranda won.
Talk about a popcorn moment. 🙂
What’s a spectacle without it?
What indeed? Well, less salty for one.
By the way, I hope you’re feeling better.
I wish I were. But I’m still feeling pretty stinky. This cold refuses to subside.
Ugh. Poor guy. I hope they’re treating you O.K. at least.
Have I mentioned how much I love Tracee’s evolution to cool babysitter/aunt/friend.
And how much Miranda seems to like her. And feeling being mutual.
A little nugget of wholesomeness in a sea of dysfunction.
Popcorn is good, I’d also recommend hot dogs.
Both close to this comic’s heart.
Nothing makes live entertainment like a political meltdown.
That shadow across Satan’s face was really holding him back.
He is now unleashed! Yet oddly less threatening.
So, okay, Daphne has a good point. But we need some reader’s perspective here, I think. It’s nice to see character development and, yes, I concur that Tracee’s evolution into an aunt is great.
But lacking Phoebe’s presence, and in consideration for Tracee’s rather pronounced character development, there is a noticeable lack of revealing fashions around the PUCK strip.
By which I mean to say, I’m hoping there’s still room for Tracee to be the uninhibited fun Aunt, who pairs competence with a fewer hangups about crossing some lines.
Although I can see where that might be impeding on Phoebe’s territory, as she is both the moral high ground and blissfully unaware of her lava-level hotness.
So what you’re saying is that, while being distracted by this story stuff, I’ve lost sight of what really brings all the boys to the yard.
At the rate he’s going, Satan will make local politics interesting again . . . for all the wrong reasons, but hey, whatever works!
Local politics will never be interesting. But it can be a disaster.
Drugs haven’t even entered the picture yet. Give it time. Wait.. SCTV. When the mayor came down to beat on the newscasters for what they said about his mother.
I’d say it’s for all the right reasons, a lot of oveconfident pompus politicians and their special interest lobbyists and paid protesters need to be taken down a peg or two and reminded that we don’t work for them, they work for us.
We didn’t vote to be ruled with an iron fist and punished for complaining about being forced to do what they decide we will, we voted for supposedly competent administrators of the public’s affairs that listen to the way we want them run.
Instead of elections, we should just hire a few office temps and let them sort things out, if they were paid by the piece and not by the year things would be running smoother in a week.
As it is now, if you ask questions of your elected ‘representatives’ you stand a good chance of being locked up for your impertinence and that’s before the “we’ll jail you if we think you MIGHT say something” Bill passes.
Not sure if Churchill really said, “Democracy is a terrible system of government but it’s the best one we have,” but if he did, he was spot on. I am not a fan of political anything, though I acknowledge s importance in keeping the world functioning.
Enlightened dictatorship is tempting. Except for the fact that it usually devolves into the unenlightened variety.
Often in less than a generation. Or a decade. Or a year. And then who succeeds? We’re spoiled, those of us who live in stability. Or used to. >.> <.<
Ah, public meetings when you’ve had enough of being nice
Looks like Satan is well on the way to rediscovering his wrath, his pride and his ambition
Nah, he’s just being spiteful at Joy. I doubt it counts except for practice.
Nah, the scope is missing. This is just being a sad, pathetic local municipal politician.
I’ve got to go with Satan here: Joy had that coming.
It’s not as satisfying when they don’t have it coming.
I’m reminded of A Blackadder Christmas “If I was you, I’d scoop him out and use him as a houseboat”.
A good retort.
Satan’s speech bubbles are getting redder. Getting some evil back? I’d think dealing witha town council meeting would do it for me.
Satan’s going to be getting his color back 🙂
I think he needs the potent backing of money (the root of all evil) if he’s to return to the shadow.
Does Phoebe really want to see this televised train wreck? I rather doubt it.
Phoebe has no interest in her father’s failings. Agreed.
@EG, Phoebe’s father really did have an epic fail once. (Or should I say “fall”? ) Heh, heh.
The epic fail comes before the epic fall.
