Some people saw this coming. One reader actually predicted this upon first seeing the Howlers outfit on Phoebe many months ago: there’s no way Puck CAN’T eventually work at Howlers. So no surprises there.
Oh, and check out the fresh new voting incentive to ring in the new year. What better way to celebrate than with a champagne-soaked bikini party? All bikinis! All champagne! Heck, it’s so awesome, I bet the people who already viewed it will be coming back for more!
Though this particular incentive pic isn’t available through voting on TWC anymore, you can purchase the pic from the STORE! It’s only a buck for a set of five voting incentives! That’s what I call a deal!
I like the way Puck’s ears droop in Panel 3. Nice touch!
Thanks! I like the ear droop thing. It’s expressive. I mean, if you have pointy ears, why waste them by keeping them still all the time?
Well, you could always be like Mr. Spock, no emotion therefore no ear drooping. LOL.
If Spock did the ear droop thing, Star Trek would have been 300% more adorable.
Logical.
Now I want to see a picture of Spock with droopy ears.
I second that.
Darn it. I did it again. I wrote a response without reading all the responses first.
“Corpse Rats” – mmmm – I’ve not tried those – sound tasty.
Daphne’s comment in the last panel is SO true, isn’t it? LOL. But, it isn’t just feminist principles, it’s ANY principles.
Principles are fragile things, I find.
The Colonel would wear a push-bra for that kind of money.
(I know, I know, “brain bleach, stat!”)
I don’t need the brain bleach because I don’t know what kind of figure you have.
It’s her pattern. When she has children, she does things. People do.
She kinda has to, or the comic ends.
True dat. 🙂
I feel like, all affirmative action and similar hiring regulations aside, hiring a woman for a position where her physical attractiveness is especially relevant, (along with the illusion of availability) who is ALREADY pregnant and going to be showing so in about 3-4 more months, is asking a lot.
“Thanks for hiring me boss! Just so you know, as soon as my probationary period is over and you’re legally obligated to provide me benefits, I’ll be taking my maternity leave… like, literally the same day after I’m entitled to it. You’re cool with paying me not to work for several times more months than I ever actually did work, right?”
(Well… further pages shall reveal this issue shall not come up, but nonetheless…)
(I think that’s sufficiently vague not to be a spoiler.)
Spoilers are irrelevant for a comic that’s been going for 25 years.
