In honesty, I’m not sure even I get this one. That’s never stopped me.
If you haven’t seen the new ‘Naughty Leprechaun’ voting incentive, well, do so! NOW!
Though this particular incentive pic isn’t available through voting on TWC anymore, you can purchase the pic from the STORE! It’s only a buck for a set of five voting incentives! That’s what I call a deal!
Wait, Puck’s more upset about Colin saving them money on half price stuff than him getting to stare at +!+s? I’d say her priorities are straight, but considering a few comics later…
Why make yourself upset over one pointless thing when you can make yourself upset over two? >.>
Also… tight as their money is, Colin is going out to eat at a restaurant and not taking his S.O. along (mind you, she wouldn’t want to go to THIS one, but leaving her at home to reheat leftovers while he’s secretly going out is a bit of a jerk move on its own.”
I always enjoy it when Colin is honest. Frankly I would probably try to lie my way out of it and make it worse. +1 point of coolness for Colin.
There’s also a thin line between being honest and being stupid. Colin crosses that line often.
If you find a wallet with a thousand dollars in it and you give the wallet back, that’s honest. If you give the thousand dollars back, that’s stupid.
But is it stupidly honest or honestly stupid?
Don’t underestimate social programming.
Mentally speaking I do my best to be ruthlessly pragmatic…
… then along came that situation last winter where a guy dropped his wallet while crossing the road, and I compulsively grabbed it and chased him across several patches of black ice to give it back to him…
… then realised what I’d done and spent the rest of the day wallowing in shame at having done the socially acceptable thing on autopilot. I completely destroyed my villain credibility in one fell swoop.
God, in his wisdom GAVE you that Wallet. Meant for you to have it.
Returning it was an affront.
Bad, BAD SotiCoto.
For shame! Boo I say. BOO!!
We should not be surprised SotiCoto has been gone for so long.
He really was smited for returning that wallet.
(I won’t make that error)
Sounds like a win-win situation to me…
I just love Puck when she’s angry. I really would not want to be the person she is angry with, but I think she just looks exponentially hotter when she is angry.
I’d tend to agree with you. Maybe that’s why she keeps getting angry so much.
What movie/show was it where a husband and wife have this trade off?
“I was checking out her bobs! Honest!”
“Liar! Why are you really here?”
I think it turned out he was trying to buy her dream house in secret and the wife caught him with the realtor.
Checking out a girls’ bobos was the better alternative, in his mind. 😀
It’s a sitcom trope. I love sitcom tropes. They’re more endearing now that the standard sitcom has basically died.
My childhood memory was a sham – flooded with a trope…
…and, no, I ain’t going to that site.. cuz my whole weekend will be gone in a blink.
You can’t fool me!
(Stay safe, Poverty Ghost!)
She knows what gets to a young man’s heart! Cheap food! And that’s what’s funny. You expect the sex thing, but not the food thing.
Phoebe has no designs on Colin’s heart. But we’re she to, the stomach would be the best approach.
Well, Howler’s has designs on his wallet and the wallets of all their clientell.
I didn’t think anything shifty of Phoebe.
