It occurs to me that Puck and Daphne are really very similar characters, though they differ in terms of maturity and experience. Puck, being the older, worldlier woman, would know better than to ever expect a man to side with her on this point. Daphne, on the other hand, still has a lot to learn.
I actually had to put a great deal of research into the proper spelling of ‘Boop-oop-a-doop.’ Now if you ask me, it sounds WAY more like ‘Boop-oop-BEE-doop’ in the cartoons, but Fleischer studios has a whole cartoon short named ‘Boop-oop-a-doop’, so I guess that’s canon. Mind you, studios have been wrong of the spellings of their characters’ phrases before. Warner Bros. always claimed the Roadrunner said “Beep beep,” but the original voice actor insisted (quite correctly) that the sound was more a “mheep mheep” than a “beep beep”. I guess it looked too weird on paper. But anyway … I’ve digressed so far that I’m totally lost.

She…, she says that like it’s a bad thing?
Confusing to the male mind, I know.
I am a male and it dose not confuse me
Well, you’re clever, then.
For comparison, check out the beginning of the comic character “Blondie”.
Did she start out as a bulldog, like Betty Boop?
IIRC, always human, and created as a reaction to Betty, named “Blondie Boop A Doop”. That didnt last long. Betty had niftier animation, but Blondie made more money.
I don’t see the problem.
And yeah, it does sound like “Bee-doop”.
I’m glad someone supports me on the ‘bee-doop’ front.
This may not be the hill I die on, but it is a hill I’d gladly picnic under.
