As creepy as this campaign sign is, I see variations of this occurring in real life all the time – particularly in American politics. “I’m a wrinkled/fat/physically repulsive old man running for office and I may not be much to look at, but dang it if I don’t have a drop-dead gorgeous daughter beside me every step of the campaign trail!” The more you think about that, the more you realize just how scary democracy really is.
PUCK NAKED!!! THE NOVEMBER VOTING INCENTIVE
The November Puck voting incentive pic is now up! Vote for Puck on TWC in order to see charismatic Canadian comic character Puck … NAKED! By popular demand! A word of caution, though: once you see this image, you can’t unsee it. Is your mind mature enough to handle it?
This voting incentive is no longer available by voting, but you can purchase the pic in the STORE! It’s only one buck for five incentive pics! YAY!
This seems like such an underhanded and typically political move. I’m guessing he wins by a landslide.
Will find out here shortly.
Politics knows no limits. Or shame. Or decency. One might say that politics knows nothing. One might be right.
Any chance we could get a wallpaper of that campaign poster?
Maybe? I’ll look at the image. The vector may look like crap when blown up that large. But it’s not a bad idea!
I actually looked at the image and it looks pretty good! I could create a spiffed-up version. I’m planning to release a few donation ware wallpapers, so I can add it to the roster. (They’ll be free or pay what you will.)
Now that I think of it, every vote I’ve ever cast has been for the Candidate with the best looking kids.
Subconsciously I’ve been figuring if they can do so well with their own kids, they’ll probably do well for the Country.
Makes sense to me.
GO SATAN !!
He’s cutting edge!
It seems to be working for Trump, sadly enough.
This story arc came out WAY before Trump, but I’m sad to say that it was ridiculously prophetic.
A businessman, a pair of world class cankles, and a silver-haired nut-bar walk into a bar….
“As creepy as this campaign sign is, I see variations of this occurring in real life all the time – particularly in American politics. . .”
That’s a fair cop.
This comic was, by the way, written before Trump and Ivanka started their little crusade.
Oh, I know. The problems started before that. We’ve taken a long time to get here, it’ll take a while to fix it.
You and Germany can run the free world while we’re working our problems out, right? Britain’s good if you need a hand. Ooooh, that’s right, they have their own issues. Just make sure NATO gets no more than two stories when you put it to bed at night.
Oh, don’t worry. We’re already falling apart up here. We elected crack-smoking
Toronto mayor Rob Ford’s brother Doug as leader of Ontario, and we’re likely to vote more crazies into the federal office soon. So by the time the US gets a real leader,
Canada will be back into crazy mode again.
Because that can only make things better.
:/
Poor Merkel’s going to be all alone. By the way, that was the name of by First Grade teacher.
@EG, Americans like me should know the danger of voting for candidates with a hot daughter. Good call! (No I didn’t vote for him.) 😉
And this comic predated that fiasco by many years! Life imitates art?
In fairness, the inspiration was more John McCain’s daughter at that point.
