Anyway, this strip requires little explanation, I think. Kind of a cheesy joke, really. You’ll notice that Daphne is playing a PS1. That lets you know how old this strip is. I’m not sure what PS1 game makes sounds like ‘Pow,’ ‘Sock’ and ‘Blee,’ but oh well. I’m also not sure why Puck’s coat is three times too big for her. It’s a mystery!

I wonder why EG created the daphne, and it baffles me. It must have broken every branch when it fell out of the ugly tree.

One must wonder if the “DAPHNE” actually IS the spawn of Puck !
Robin just may have consumed a Hogshead of Mead in some former life, and then, in a drunken debauchery, um, how can I say this … visited the “LAUNDRY ROOM” with some spawn of HELL ?
And not an attractive Spawn like Phoebe, either. More like a palsied, hairy-backed Jackal “Thing”.

Well, her top half gets cold and her bottom half gets hot. Or she wants you to look at her legs.
It’s a foolish way to dress, perhaps, but it serves a very specific purpose.
How else would you know it was her? There are too many people on campus with pointy ears.
Seriously, though, I get the feeling she just went the clossest education themed wardrobe she could find and then stopped looking. It suits her well.

My guess is perhaps she was playing Namco Museum. Those had classic beeps and bloops that could be the origin in the comic.
