As for this comic…
Still sick. It’s been about nine days illness thus far. Now it’s faded the point of a light cough, but it’s not going away. Actively chose to keep the comic simple this week. This is about as easy a layout as I can get: no more than two characters per panel, simple placement, no frills. Next week may be something similar. But hey, at least it’s completed comic!
It is best for them to lay low for a while until all of this blows over. Plus who knows if going to a cafe near a college can inspire a person’s future.
It’s not actually a college. It’s a private high school where almost all the students are super rich exchange students from Asia. So it’s not going to inspire them to learn much. But it might inspire the, to better their DOTA 2 skills.
I get it. A private high school filled with super rich exchange students Daphne cons money out of.
They’re not easy targets. They’re rich, so they’re wary.
Daphne could see the gaming cafe as akin to a billiards hall, with her (and Taylor) as the pool sharks.
Taylor could be the sap to lure them in (by losing), and Daphne can sweep in to clean up the mess (money)…
Cue the Scott Joplin music.

Yeah, but to be fair she usually can be counted on in a pinch. If the chips were down I can see her stepping up.

That is a more practical plan than I thought she was going. It also gets them out of the story.

Boxing day is also legally a holiday in the UK. I defrost my aunt’s feezers every boxing day.

Well, it depends on the state of the world. When the whole thing’s a write-off, sometimes the apocalypse is a good thing.

Interestingly, in Canada, suffragette Nellie McClung was in the running to be on a bill a few years ago. She didn’t get the final vote. But I think she would have been on a smaller bill. Still, Australia and Canada both would have had Nellies.
I feel the need to read. starting with borrowing Phoebe’s books. Hummina, Hummina Hummina!
