THE GREAT WORD ADVENTURE CONTINUES!!
This year patrons weren’t limited to just nouns. They chose words of all types, and I assembled them into ‘mad libs’ type sentences to provide demented inspiration for ridiculous pics. So…
VOTE FOR WORDS, WORDS, WORDS!!!
As for this comic…
Not much to say. I think most of us could predict this reaction from Hannah.
She is her own class of roller coaster. That’s for damn sure.
One of those wooden ones that really shakes you up good.
I suppose the only thing to say would be, “Hell yeah!”
Just like the Mighty Canadian Mindbuster…
Roughest ride this side of the Mississippi.
The only side left is the Gulf of Mexico.
Oh hellz yeah…
What is her religious background again?
Dutch Reformed.
Ohhhh, K. Dial it back H-is-for-Hell-Fan. Don’t scare Daphne. She’s got enough weird to deal with.
no, if anything it needs to get weirder.
You can never have too much weird. It’s like cheese on pizza.
You can be weirded out. And it looks like Daph is pretty close to it. But, yeah, the standards are different.
“This is NOT what I signed on for.
This is SO much better!”
Hey. We aim to please in this restaurant.
Well talk about the ultimate act of rebellion against your religious parents.
Ultimate? She’s not going to become succubus like Larisa from Sandra and Woo …
Love the T-Shirt. And Speaking of Tuvix, seen the recent season 2 of Prodigy, the Mirror universe episode? 😉
I haven’t watched any of the new Paramount Trek stuff. Seem to be mostly misses, from what I’ve heard. With the odd win, like season three of Picard. But I assume there are some gems. Good to see Tuvix get some lore love.
Strange New Worlds is a good prequel to the original series, plus it is better than the other recent series, with Picard 3 being the best of all.
It seems like it’s slowly gotten better thanks to consistent fan backlash. But when your franchise mastermind is one half of the writing team behind the first Transformers movie, I’m not excited. I love the first Transformers movie, but it’s about the furthest thing from Star Trek possible.
If you are a Trekkie, at least watch Lower Decks. And I completely forgot, if you like Tuvix, watch Lower Decks Season 4 episode 1, aptly named “Twovix”. I won’t spoil anything, but just by the episode title… well, you g 13et it.
I’ve heard good things about Lower Decks. Not sure I’m ready to get back on the Star Trek roller coaster.
Paramount is playing season one of LOWER DECKS on YouTube. Not sure for how long.
Dude, SNW and Prd are widely regarded as extremely good. I mean, Widely and Extremely.
Prd?
Prodigy. How do you contract it?
Well, the want ads do have a section for “Evil” from time to time, but could she read it?
Text-to-speech. It’s a glorious thing.
Yeah, can’t say panel 4 was that big a shock given sweet-faced Hannah’s history e.g. https://www.puckcomics.com/?comic=puck-688
Those who know the whole story won’t be shocked.
Emily and Rainbow Clown need some Canadian Club in their cola…
I also commend you for drawing a pinup with a lady who has more of an hourglass figure, rather than a coke bottle one. Variety IS the spice of life, after all…
Well, it was one of those scenarios where I didn’t want the one to look like a carbon copy clone of the other. I’m trying to diversify body types.
Well, talk about how Daphne using her chaotic nature with Hannah’s religious upbringing and Tyler’s balance mellow attitude and you have the next generation in the making.
Puck Trek: The Next Generation.
Hamilton, the final frontier.
If the next generation is in the making, does that mean that Tyler and Daphne can conceive a child?
I’m going to go out on a limb and say, canonically, that this is entirely possible.
. . . . I suppose it would break Hannah’s heart to learn that right now, Satan and evil are in a trial separation . . .
But thrill her to discover that the assignment is to help him regain it.
Yeah, I’m thinking that she’ll love that.
I love Hannah’s blind eye glimmer. I even think her breasts perked up from panel 3 to 4.
Couple things, first those band-aids look like pain materialised. Second did the blind girl just learn about Phoebe’s heritage.
Easy-off band-aids.
And yes.
Come to think of it does Hannah know what Daphne looks like.
I’m reminded of an episode of “Barney Miller” where a blind man asked Captain Miller if he could feel his face…then expressed pleasant surprise at his moustache.
Does Daphne have a moustache?
No. Not a clue.
While we’re talking about Tuvix (we weren’t) a fun game I’ve seen played at nerdcons and online is to wonder what would happen if a similar situation happened elsewhere.
Worf + Wesley would probably ask to be decompiled honorably.
Chekov + Sulu would be too cool a guy to get rid off.
Quark + Odo would be chucked back into the transporter before the hour was up.
Quark + Odo could probably separate into two without the use of the transporter. Giving Quark shape-shifting goo powers. Which would be terrifying.
I agree on Chulu, but Quodo sounds too hilarious to pass up.
