Puck is a weekly webcomic that, in the words of one fan, is "mostly irreverent humor concerning a pretty girl with freckles and a hot she-devil who wears fan-service costumes." Surreal fantasy slice-of-life crazy-type stuff about the world's funniest redhead! Updates Tuesday.
I have to ask… I recall in this one (and one from the original run – number slips my mind at present) there’s no alt-text… Any reason or you just forgot about it?
(I am totally NOT re-reading the entire thing starting from 80 for like the fifth time. You’re imagining things).
Total error on my part. I just added an alt-text to this one. When I generated this site, I posted all the back issue strips in marathon posting sessions that sometimes taxed my sanity. Thanks for noting.
In a semi related note, is there ever a comic which says that she regained her missing memories from these gap years?
…or will she have to live the rest of her life not remembering what happened during that time?
…though given her age, missing 7 to 10 years isn’t that big a deal in the long run.
Never really directly addressed. Though in one comic she does talk about the old lady who used to own the house before them, which is a memory that fell in that time gap, so it seems some memories are there. I like to think that they came back gradually? I dunno.
It has occurred to me that if if you CAN selectively lose your memory of entire seasons of reality TV, horrible early 1990’s pop music and blonde in-laws you could make a fortune if you patent “Mr. Smacky” and sell it online…
After intense consultation with both ALL the incredible members of the TRACEEE FAN CLUB, I have been instructed to offer you a FULL YEAR’S free membership.
A intense discount from the usual cost of $3 US Dollars.
All we require at this time, is that you consciously LUST after TRACEEE.
Yes they do. ‘Sunglasses at Night’ was a huge hit stateside and ‘Never Surrender’ reached #3 on Billboard’s top 100 in August 1985. He was, however, even bigger in Canada, and the song hit #1 here. So I think we Canadians remember his music (including his lesser hits) as being more a ubiquitous component of the 80’s, though Americans are definitely aware of him. He was one of the key pillars of the 80’s Corey continuum, along with Corey Feldman and Corey Haim.
In related news, Hart even popped up on the Stranger Things soundtrack for season two, so you KNOW he’s hit the big time as a permanent component of 80’s nostalgia!

All I ask is a 10% finder’s fee….
Brilliant! Though I don’t think a functional shape is patentable.
I have no idea what a “Snooki” is… but I could probably Google it if I cared to know.
DON’T google Snooki.
You have been warned.
I Googled Snooki just now. The experience wasn’t nearly as scarring as I was expecting.
Snooki’s breast physics would be electrifying, gecko.
Ummn, Col Klink….

We’re just not that picky.
I guess. Though they might be too much for programming to take.
Does the fan club include proper photos? Google was unhelpful on this.
If so, I’m all over it.
No. It does not. Don’t let Salem tell you otherwise!
I don’t think anyone outside of Canada knows who Corey Hart is…being from Montreal, I am a fan of his, so I got the “Never surrender” joke.

Isn’t that a game on a table with balls and pool cues?
Yes, I heard of her. I very purposfully never watched the show, however.
That’s snooker. And snooker would have been a far more timeless joke to make.
But I hardly know ‘er!
Oh hah.
