I’m going to be posting fan art every week now, and it’ll all go into a nicely arranged archive that will be easily reached from a tab in the menu. So here goes with the first entry!
This here is one of the first pieces of Puck fan art ever, from my Brazilian friend Eduardo, and dates back to 2009 or so. The newer Puck comics weren’t even in existence at this point, which is why Puck’s wearing her ‘Puck Prime’ outfit. Eduardo was part of the batch of original Puck enthusiasts who got to know it through DeviantArt when I posted the old strips there, and he eventually surprised me with this pic. I do like the eyes.
So young, so innocent, so happy.
I don’t who that is, but it ain’t PUCK !
Well, true. Not a very Puck expression.
Why not? She WAS young some time … of course, this raises a question where could she be with so many rectangles … Egypt? Some pyramid, I mean? While it was being build?
I like that theory.
Not while a pyramid was being built. Puck’s 630 something and the pyramids are from thousands of years BC. Continuity and accuracy are important.
No they aren’t! Since when have I ever maintained either?
I said important, not essential.
I also didn’t say to whom.
Also, Puck could easily lie about her age.
After all, who could produce her birth certificate to prove her wrong?
When you live Recurrent Lives, as all Cats do (and perhaps Puck as well), they do not need to be Sequential. By that I mean when one life ends, a new life does not necessarily begin immediately.
At least that’s been my experience. As best as I can recollect, for me it’s never been more than a few decades, at most. Usually much less.
(I can still remember the first time I ate CANNED Cat Food, a few lives ago. It was right after Abraham Lincoln invented it. Yummm.)
But Fairies ? I dunno. Centuries of dormancy could insert themselves between lives.
They may have more than nine lives, too, and may even jump forward and backwards in time. (Though I doubt that. Let’s not get silly here.)
Back to the point: Puck in Ancient Egypt ? Mebe, but NOT in this Fan Art ! Cleopatra would never be caught DEAD in PLAID !!! (and never has been. I asked an archy-ollo-gist).
