So this is another early piece of Puck fan art done by London artist and writer Steve Thompson Steve Thompson.
This dates to early during the color days, so Puck is wearing her classic nightie (which she still wears!) as seen in the very early color comics. This was also before any pic clearly established Puck’s eye color, which might be why it’s a bright blue here. But I just love the stance, the attitude, and the ‘I don’t give a f$%&’ nature of this pic. It perfectly does encapsulate an element of her personality that I sometimes struggle to get into my drawings.
Disturbing
Not THAT disturbing, I hope.
The part that bothers me is not Robin’s tongue (it is a very fine tongue), but rather is what’s going on to the LEFT of her tongue.
It appears to be some sort of vertical membrane, with small serrated teeth on its edge.
I suppose if the “teeth” were not there I’d just let it go.
(yeah, as an untalented hack I do feel bad making any criticism, but I yam what I yam)
“‘Tude-filled Puck”
Bit redundant, really isn’t it?
