This marks the last time I think I’ll ever need to draw Puck in this ridiculous outfit. Part of me is sad, but most of me is very, very relieved.

More household items should come with a cinnamon, or ice cream, or Cap’n Crunch smell. Car wax. Window wash. Pet spray.
I’d probably be happier with my art if my watercolours came cinnamon-tinted. Though I’d probably just end up eating my art, anyway.

I always said when somebody started driveling about the Mayan calendar doomsday, “If they were so smart, how come they never invented the wheel?”
The Mayans actually DID invent the wheel. Archaeologists have found many Mayan Children Toys that are wheeled.
The Mayans simply decided that given the terrain they lived in, full scale wheels were not useful. At least that is what is claimed. I’m not sure I buy it.

Not gonna lie, if handcream smells like ice cream, I’d probably use that, too.
If that’s the last time you draw her in that outfit… Well, I can’t really say I’ll miss it. But at the same time, it grows on you. Just because it’s so not-Puck. Oh well.

Phoebe’s probably 5’9″ or so. Tracee’s probably 5’3″, maybe 5’4″. 5’3.4″ is actually average height for women in Canada, so I wouldn’t say Tracee’s teeny, exactly. And I think she’s often wearing pretty crazy heels, so that compensates.

I always thought the song was about a bikini with yellow polka dots, not a yellow bikini with polka dots.

There are no hyphens or commas there, sadly, so we really can never be sure. I even checked the album cover. So it’s entirely up to interpretation.
BOMBALURINA is convinced the Bikini is Yellow, with Black Polka Dots.

Google “Yellow Polka Top Bikini”, and the vast majority displayed are yellow cloth – generally with white polka dots. But red or black work for me as well.

I know the episode of which you speak. I’d be remiss if I didn’t note the fact that Phoebe functions as a rather perfect blend of Rarity and Fluttershy, with a touch of Pinkie Pie thrown in.

TWC went and totally redid their website, AND they redid their buttons and links and stuff. I’ll have to see if I can fix it for the various links. How much warning was I given by TWC? NONE.
They also redid their login info, which means I can’t log into the site as a comic owner, can’t update the voting incentives, and have no control over anything at all. We’ll see where this goes, but I don’t like the look of things…

Well, confession time:
(a) It’s ONE background, used over and over again.
(b) It’s one background that I drew in 2012, originally for comic #130. It’s been reused many, many times.
I thought about redrawing it here, because there are elements of the image I don’t much like, but I got lazy.
Ok, as an Artist you are very concerned with the Art.
We understand.
But what makes or breaks any Web Comic is the STORY.
You’ve got a great Story. Don’t fret the small stuff.
