Puck is a weekly webcomic that, in the words of one fan, is "mostly irreverent humor concerning a pretty girl with freckles and a hot she-devil who wears fan-service costumes." Surreal fantasy slice-of-life crazy-type stuff about the world's funniest redhead! Updates Tuesday.
Tyler: “The adults are all acting strange. Only us teenager are normal.”
Daphne: “We could check on Colin, but that would only confirm we’re in a YA novel.”
actually, that plaid+white top combo is giving me flashbacks to pucks old school-uniform outfit…..but considering that tracee is now living in crackistan it would make scary sense for her to turn into puck – just like satan is turning into video-game adicted collin. he only needs to grow a beard, and the transformation will be complete
Of all the outfits I expected Tracee to emerge from thrift shopping, naughty Catholic school girl was not on the list.
This will definitely get Satan out of Daphne’s seat.
And just to split hairs, Tracee, Sandy didn’t come into her own until she adopted leather and black spandex…
Tyler is “I sense a disturbance in The Flow.’
(The Flow= The Force, Canadian version. Works better, because The Flow simply does the job without adding all those dramatics the Yanks simply cannot do without!)
It’s just a lot. The drawing and inking and colouring take me so long, it’s ridiculous. And it’s even more ridiculous because (let’s face it) the comic kinda looks like garbage despite my best efforts.
I’m increasingly thinking that I’d be better off hiring a real artist. Or moving to a much simpler art style that I could crank out faster. Every time I look at the comic, it just makes me angry at the thought of how much time I’ve spent on such terrible visuals.
Well, I thank you for the vote of confidence. Honestly, the primary thing that keeps me going is the fact that people I respect seem to like the comic.

And people like me. 😉
If you need a break, take it. No one needs you to have burnout.
Yep, it’s December and Christmas fast approaches.
Take a break, do the family stuff, enjoy the snow, unwind.
Refresh yourself and when YOU are ready just say gidday, we will be here.
(Wish we had snow, it’s farkn hot here {and getting hotter})
It’s not as much a break I need as a much easier creation pipeline. But I’m to blame for my own laborious methods. And farkn hot sounds nice right about now, as I’m now entering the ‘every morning requires ten minutes of frost/ice removal before you drive your car’ season in Canada.
Now this is an outfit that I can get behind.
You’re probably not alone.
Definitely. Especially if she bends forward.
Tyler: “The adults are all acting strange. Only us teenager are normal.”
Daphne: “We could check on Colin, but that would only confirm we’re in a YA novel.”
You’ve got to keep that unconfirmed.
Well, when the evidence mounts…
Two movies I haven’t seen.
Can sexy vampire manager be far behind? Or is this it? Seriously, I’m behind in my sexy vampire taxonomy.
The fact that you have never seen these two movies is solid evidence that you are not, nor ever have been, a teen girl.
Not even a little bit.
Signs of the Apocalypse?
The apocalypse is plaid.
Of course it is.
actually, that plaid+white top combo is giving me flashbacks to pucks old school-uniform outfit…..but considering that tracee is now living in crackistan it would make scary sense for her to turn into puck – just like satan is turning into video-game adicted collin. he only needs to grow a beard, and the transformation will be complete
Satan already has a beard. We just can’t see it. Though I guess Colin doesn’t have a beard now.
Shave, then.
Perhaps she’s wearing the kilt.
“The Four Horsemen… they’ve gone to Plaid.”
I see Daphne is an “Orville” fan. But who isn’t?
I am. Hope springs eternal for another season. Though it wouldn’t be the same without Norm MacDonald.
We love Orville, too, as we did Norm. Only he could have voiced Yaphit and make it believable, and funny as hell.
Does Emily’s helmet turn with her head, so that her “ears” stay in the helmet extensions?
I am assuming so.
Great new look for Tracee as it fits her very well. Something that is both nostalgic and still fashionable.
Puck knows how to swing the classics.

Well, when Puck is behind the wheel, the schoolgirl thing will sometimes be the road the vehicle goes down. Naughty or no.
Yes, but when it comes to Puck, the vehicle is on an actual road and school girls are the targets.
Indeed. You know her so well.
I get a definite “Catholic schoolgirl goes bad” vibe here…
Your vibe reader is obviously in good working order.
I admit it, I like Tracee’s new look. It goes well with her blondeness. 🙂
I thought so too. It just sorta works.

Is there a Canadian galaxy in Star Wars, just north of the usual galaxy? Eh?
There’s one for Australia.
I don’t know if you’re still feeling burnt out.
Yep. Pretty much. It’s getting harder and harder to get these comics done every week.
Sorry.
No sorries from you! Not your fault at all!

Sir! I do NOT read “Trash”. Your art is good. It’s also gotten better with time.

It is no longer November and Puck has a new unadvertised incentive (I try to go every day but sometimes I cannot). Open your surpise/
Hey, Tracee looks positively wholesome 🙂
I know, right? It’s just so … wrong.
