Just thought I’d note that Puck has now been running for 15 straight years as a webcomic. Yes, the comic started earlier than that, back in the 90s as a student newspaper comic, but it was during April of 2011 when I restarted it as a weekly webcomic.
That’s over 780 weeks of updates. I only missed one update, very early on. But I have never taken a hiatus, never stopped to smell the roses. I average about 12-20 hours a week on the comic, meaning that’s around twelve and a half thousand man hours spent making this thing. Was it time well spent? I dunno. But I’m happy that some people enjoy it, and I’ve been very thankful for all the connections I’ve made with readers over the years.
Perhaps the real Puck is the friends we made along way.
Thanks, guys.

Congratulations!
Thank you.
Puck reaches the Quinceañera!
Well, as a webcomic. As a comic in general Puck is over a quarter century old, can drive, vote, and might have a mortgage.
I remember the first time I saw the tagline: Puck, Ancient fairy of lore… seems like only minutes ago, so congratulations on the milestone!
Time is weird, isn’t it? Feels like there should be more of it.
Thanks for years of entertainment, albeit with a side order of fear of redheads 😉 I hope you find the creative process satisfying!
The creative process is sometimes frustrating, but the connection to readers is always satisfying. I worked creatively for years before Puck with no real feedback, no one who cared. The fact that people read it is the main reason I’ve been able to keep going so long. So thanks.
Huge congratulations, what an achievement! (Yes, of course it’s an achievement.)
I feel like it maybe falls in the ‘biggest ball of twine’ category of achievements. It’s a feat, though not all would celebrate it as a feat of value. Despite that, I thank you. Heartily.
More value than and feat (or feet) I’ve ever made.
Congratulations Professor Gecko on 15 great years, and hopefully many more to come. I stumbled on Puck in your first year early one morning at the office and have enjoyed it greatly ever since. I even went back and read Puck from the beginning college years on. It’s been fun watching your visuals develop with the technology to really fine comic art. But it’s your sharp and witty storytelling that keeps me coming back. My only secret greedy desire is one day you’ll colorize the early adventures. Thanks for Pucking us up!
Interestingly enough, the tech and methods I use to create the comics have not changed at all since 2011. Still working on the same version of Corel Draw, still drawing and inking on paper. Any changes have been internal.
I think the old comics would not hold up well to coloring. I’d need to redraw them. Which I may do, at some point. And add some more to the university adventures, perhaps?
Congratulations on 15 years! I’ve forgotten when I first found Puck, but it’s more than 10 years ago. It’s been quite a ride.
We just keep going. No idea where it leads us. Thank you, good sir, for sticking by it.
