The point of this one is to quickly sum up the hostile relationship between Puck and her new roommate, Phoebe. (Phoebe, by the way, is the daughter of Satan.) I should really say the relationship is hostile in one direction only. Despite her devilish appearance, Phoebe is simply too friendly to hold a grudge against anyone. Puck, however, initially harbours a deep hatred for her roommate. Later on, they become quite good friends.
At first, I kind of had a plan for Phoebe to be an evil, catty kind of roommate from … well, hell. But as the strip progressed, that plan fell aside and she became this sweet (if kooky) character.
Every strip deserves a comment.
However pointless.
