I’m not sure this joke really works. I’m not sure that this strip is really anything other than an excuse to put Tracee in a ‘sexy nurse’ costume. (Hey, at least I’m honest.)

With easy access to Google Image Search, your attempt at “Sexy Nurse” was far easier than your “sexy maid” costume years ago. I mean, good lord, those download times running on a 28.8 just for pictures.

I still remember working in a computer store in the late 90’s and selling Motorola modems labeled “BLAZING FAST 56k”. Good times.

That all depended on the quality of the phone line you were connected to. The modems may have been capable of 56k, but even in the early 2000’s I remember places where the old copper lines struggled to support those speeds (I was in one house in 2002 that I remember capping out around ~35k).
I remember seldom getting speeds above 30k, and even that was considered decent.
