THE GREAT WORD ADVENTURE BEGINS!!
This year patrons weren’t limited to just nouns. They chose words of all types, and I assembled them into ‘mad libs’ type sentences to provide demented inspiration for ridiculous pics. So…
VOTE FOR WORDS, WORDS, WORDS!!!
As for this comic…
For those who would like a better look at some of the art I made for the bridal magazine, I’ve posted the images here on Patreon for patrons to see.
She’s going out with Satan, I’m thinking that it’s more of a wacky, crazy hijinks in episodic escapade.
I think a proper description requires stronger language, honestly.
Any word on if the neighbors call the place the “FUN HOUSE”? Has Stan said anything?
No word from Stan in a while.
One person’s Wacky Escapade is another’s Crazy Highjinks. It’s what happens.
Or a crazy escapade. Or a wacky hijinks.
But never a Kooky Hijink.
Definitely crazy hijunks
Whew! 😉
Shenanigans is in there somewhere too I think.
As are loony larks or as Mr Stephen Fry would call them, jolly japes.
So many ways to have funny frolics in English.
Seeing Puck in a wedding dress would be a sight to see.
Will happen.
How will they break the news to Miranda that her mommy and daddy are getting married?
Give her a Happy Legitimacy cake? All kids love cake…
True.
The great thing about toddlers is that you never have to explain anything to them. They don’t really care. They’re just along for the ride.
When did Colin pop the question? Also does anyone else think ancient fairy weddings involve a lot of drinking and dancing.
Well, this wedding will certainly include … things.
Ohhhh! A wedding in the plot line!?!? Yay!
Please don’t let Satan officiate. Surely Papa Snork could do the honors.
Someone is qualified, I’m sure.
Puck’s family, perhaps?
Puck doesn’t have any family mentioned in stories, although it would be interesting to see ANY other fairies.
Are we going to play Spot the Wedding Trope? And what will Puck do to them?
I love tropes. More tropes for me.
Is Yoda officiating this one like the Leprechaun/Fortune Teller wedding from The Simpsons?
Maybe. Maybe.
He popped the question after having surgery and seeing Mr. T and taking his advice.
Good memory.
It was memorable.
So yeah, that TWC link is what we in the business generally call “b0rked”… 😛
Thanks. Missed a chevron. Fixed now.
There’s aso been a lot of malarkey, and some outright shenanigans too…
I am so tired of how Sexist “Shenanigans” is!!! From here on out they shall be known as “HE-nanigans”!
And while were at it, Tomfoolery shall forevermore be called Tinafoolery!
While *we’re*
Tinafoolery is the flip side of Ikefoolery. Which is far more serious.
Don’t remember seeing Ike in the Thunderdome!
Lucky for him, too. . . .
I do like shenanigans. Especially if they come with shamrocks.
Shamrock shake?
I’m sorry but since when is “is” considered a verb. I’ve never heard of someone issing before.
That’s because “is” is irregular verb, or rather form of irregular verb “be”. You probably did heard about someone being before.
It’s a very passive verb.
‘Is’ is an active verb, actually. Unless included in a passive construct like, “Tony is being beaten by thugs.”
The verb ‘to be’. You make the same grammar errors as my grade nine students, I see.
Something like? …
. | It will be here [future action]
! It is here [current action]
| . It was here [past action]
That’s my take anyhow.
All active. All variations of the verb ‘to be’.
Well, those are the tenses. If we look at the aspects (present tense only):
It is being here.
It has been here.
It has been being here.
It is going to be here.
Conjugation of the the verb to be
I am
You are(singular)
He/She IS
We are
You are(plural)
They are
I’m sure the Lady Of The Park has the authority to conduct marriages. The ravens and the raccoons provide security, Daphne the maid of honour, Miranda the flower girl, Taylor the best man, Tracee and Emily the cat-girl as bridesmaids, Puck’s psychologist will walk her down the aisle, Papa Shnorf the wedding reception DJ, Satan providing City Hall for the ceremony. Sigh. I suppose this means we’ll again see Colin’s family . . . hey, rough with the smooth . . . . ish, smooth-ish.
Papa Schnorf might be ordained, for all we know. He also portrays the leader of a village of Schnorfs.
Papa is the officiator of weddings in Shnorf Village, I suppose. Weddings would be infrequent, though. Or gay weddings.
We might get a legit man of the cloth to officiate too. Not unfathomable.
Life is what interrupts you while you’re trying to live your … life. D’Oh.
It’s the journey that counts. Not the destination. Unless the destination is McDonalds.
Ooooh Emily, and KITT 🙂
Together at last?
I’m not sure if it’s important that they’re together; but they’re both hot.
Break me off a piece of that KITT-Cat(girl) Bar.
That is genius.
I hear they are rebooting Knightrider (…aren’t they rebooting everything?) and is there any doubt that bikini’d Cat Girl Emily is what it really needs?
They ALREADY rebooted it about eight years ago. And it was a disaster. No one cared. Maybe the replacement of Michael Knight with Emily the Cat Girl is the magic they need?
The way they do some many gender flips I could see a Michelle Knight heading the show. But they NEED to keep KITT’s voice that of loveable Mr. Feeny
Tracee says “more OR a wacky hijinks girl”
Thank you for catching. I swear, I can read over these comics forty times and still not catch the dumb typos. My brain just sees what it expects to see. It’s fixed now.
We’re all like that.
Tracee is more and more likeable. She keeps Puck from getting bored.
That is her primary role here.
