Site is still new. Site is still working! This is a good thing. In terms of this strip, it's a bit of a break in terms of complexity for me: just three characters, no giant group shots, nothing hard. I gotta savor the breaks when I get them.
Well…the Robots could have powered down for the night to recharge for the next day thereby showing off their “Sleep” mode.
I don’t think they ever wanted to waste the time doing so.
I’m betting the remains of the slaughtered robots drag themselves to a ditch and combine their remnants into one hideous chimera/puppy grinder. Wait, Satan might actually like that outcome…

The origin of the robots is unknown. Maybe one of Satan’s previous half-realized schemes went wrong. Maybe the sins of man have formulated and risen higher than the Prince of Darkness.
Did Sigmund not think it strange that they clearly had a USB-A fixation and were constantly plugging into the old outlets? (They are clearly middle aged, so no USB-C for them.)
At their age, they probably jacked into systems using SCSI ports.
