And your description for this comic answers the question I was going to ask “(are you afraid you’ll ever run out of ideas for strips)”. Go figure.
At the rate of these strips (the glacial pace of one a week), I have enough story and plot ideas to last me the next twenty years. That said, I sometimes struggle to think of a particular strip that might join one comic to another.
And yeah, I’d stay there too.

Wouldn’t her tail be an extension of her spinal cord? So the curvature of her back would make a visible extension into her tail. (Just curious what you think.)
Yes. Yes it would. But the end result, while being entirely anatomically feasible, would be aesthetically hideous. Really, the idea of a human-type form with a tail is not a good idea, anatomically speaking, because the coccyx (tail bone) in humans acts as a structural support, holding in your intestines and stuff against the pull of gravity. So yeah, I’m not going for plausible at all here. I’m more going for the ‘costume devil’ approach.

The storyline is starting to give way to a little bit more humor. These past couple weeks have been really good.
Well, glad to hear you say that, though I’m always trying to keep humor as the primary part of the equation, so I’m sad to hear that I was falling down on that front earlier.
It’s always a good comic, but c’mon bro. You have to admit that several of the hospital comics were very story driven. As soon as Colin and Puck brought the baby home things seemed to go back to the way it was.

Personally, I thought the hospital ones kept their humor. This whole webcomic is story-driven, or at least it’s been ever since Puck became pregnant. No problem there, as far as I’m concerned.
I will say you almost lost me with #209. Almost, but not quite.
Out of all the comics, I didn’t ever think #209 would be the one to almost chase anyone away, but hey.
Sir, I am MOST disappointed! There is only ONE comic with the tag “Baby Seal Eye Jelly” or “Virgin Blood”! As a connoisseur of the only the finest baby seal eye jelly and virgin blood I DEMAND more comics featuring these tags in action!
I did those tags as a joke. They just felt right, for some reason.
Virgin blood was also said to keep one’s skin looking youthful. Hence a madwoman who killed young virgins for their blood.

I actually wasn’t planning a dinner scene, but maybe I’ll have to slip one in somewhere. Heck, this story line is going to carry me right through to next Christmas at this rate. I think we might just have to settle for a breakfast scene.

I’m sorry, but infidelity is a hot button for me. My best friend got a divorce because his ex-wife cheated on him while he was deployed, and I dropped a girlfriend because she decided to cheat on me because she was mad at me.
