I’m curious as to what would happen if Snoopy had scared the freckles off of Peppermint Patty. Maybe Linus would have given up his blanket. Maybe the Little Red Haired Girl would have dyed her hair. Maybe Charlie Brown would have kicked the football.
In other words, the entire world would have ended.

Maybe the source of Puck’s anger lied within her freckles, like how Samson’s strength was in his hair or Chuck Norris’ immortality is in his moustache.
I figure it goes like this: “Now that you’re not wasting those endless hours drawing her Freckles, you’ll have the time to hang that Picture I bought last year, that’s still sitting on the floor !!”
I thought gingers earned a freckle for every soul they stole. To loose your entire account like that seems like a bad thing. Maybe it works different for Puck.
Maybe it has to do with all the many people she’s punched over the years. Every punch earns a freckle. It would explain why she has many more of them now in comparison to the early comics.
I am both amused and confused at her reaction.
My girlfriend (after catching up due to being busy) just went ‘So wait, she won’t have freckles anymore?’
I told her I dunno, but I think she looks kinda… Off without them (as we’ve seen her have them for nearly 300 strips – I say ‘nearly’ because she isn’t part of all of them).
The freckles WILL return. Promise. Because she does look weird without them. Though this is the first of a few physical changes she’s going to undergo. This whole story arc is going to be sort of like a Cronenberg body horror. With less horror. And no Cronenberg. So no, I guess that really doesn’t match.
Well, the loss of freckles is going to throw THIS WHOLE UNIVERSE out of whack, so just wait for it. The chutzpah’s going to travel in weird directions.
The only freckled redhead I know goes out in the sun to walk and do yard work. She is also a nurse and regrets the days when nurses wore only white. My other redheaded friends avoid the sun like poison and have no freckles that I can see. Admittedly, I have not done a whole-body scan

I know it’s kinda old news by now, but I like what you’ve done with Pheobe’s hair. I wasn’t sure I was going to like anything but the bangs, but this actually looks good.
I’m glad that the general consensus is that this Phoebe hairdo is better. I wanted it to not dramatically alter her appearance, but get rid of some of the sillier elements of the old hair. If it works for you people, then there must be something right with it.
I’m definitely still fretting about the freckles, SalemCat. They might make their way to MY neighborhood, and lord knows I’m dealing with enough freckles as it is.
