Makes you wonder which one could pull off either a Pollock or the Sunday in the Park painting. But I’m also wondering who could pull off the sexiest portrayal of the least seedy painting.

I’m assuming ‘process’ was intended to be ‘princess’. Cuz otherwise, I’m confused.
Stupid Phone Autocorrect. Yeah, it was supposed to be princess. But Tru and swipe that on a phone screen. Process is what it puts up there first, then it puts princess as the sixth choice if you do not slow down the finger, which having misswipped, moves on.

Well, it’s easy to do. She has so many.
Its Fall, the birds are flying south, cool autumn breezes push the leaves and if you listen carefully; in the distance you can hear the faint sound of Salem Cat’s brain exploding in joy…

THE FEARSOME YULE CAT awakens this Winter.
She is quite trapped in her Eldrich Ways, and her Fashion-Sense is positively Medieval (actually, considering her actual age, judging by the fashions of three centuries past is admirable).
When she encounters people wearing MASKS, after Samhain, things will not go well.
I advise purchasing masks that are, at least, somewhat original and interesting. That may confuse her long enough for you to make a speedy exit.

And the live action movie, with Linda Cardellini in the Velma role, all doubt was erased
That movie (A) is mostly an affront against nature, and (B) definitely miscast Velma.

I am on the same page as you. In all elements except hair color, I think the casting choice is pretty easy. Phoebe is a clear choice for Daphne and Puck is a natural Velma.
I understand that it didn’t get really dangerous until the last panel, but why is Colin still there? Even he must know this is past time to leave.
Plot-wise, he’s still there because I need him to say something in the following comic. But realistically, he would have abandoned ship before this.
I’m glad to hear that there is at least a plot-related reason Colin is still there.
Then again, “a sensible man would have long since fled for his life” isn’t a statement that would normally describe Colin anyway, now is it? He’s something of a textbook example for how “common sense” is usually no such thing.

I fear that I’m a bit too old for Scooby – None of the female characters in that comic amused me enough to generate my interest. For comics, I still remember and revere the likes of Crusader Rabbit.

Me too (had to look it up). While it looks vaguely familiar, I don’t know that I’d ever seen an episode. And I’m 727 months old.

On the incentive: Way to paint that canvas blue and gray.
It was fun, actually. I vectorized the original painting then was able to manipulate components of it into my own special composition.
Sweet. Interesting to learn about the tricks behind certain works, even as a non-artist. Closest way I can relate would be applying it as a repeating texture with an alpha map. Cruder way than yours, of course. (That’s just me messing with terrain editors for games). I wouldn’t be able to adjust it without adjusting all of it. Unless I used multiple layers with offsets, maybe.
Yeah, kinda like the multiple layer thing. I’m actually breaking it down so each individual brush stroke is its own vector, so I can move things and layer things at will.

I don’t think they care. One of the big truths about women and appearance is that they’re seldom trying to impress men. As Van Morrison noted long ago, they’re dressed up for each other. Not guys. So if all the girls think Daphne is where it’s at, then .. that’s where it’s at.
Also, Puck has a man. She’s just trying to win now.
But that’s good to know. I guess we’re just colateral beneficiaries.

Phoebe, dear girl, wrong answer. Puck is the obvious choice for Velma because she is by far the smarter of the two women. All the mysteries are solved either by Freddy or Velma. Daphne seldom contributes anything other that looking pretty on Freddy’s arm. Puck will buy this argument where she would not accept the assertion that Velma is the hot one.
I’m not entirely sure Puck is the smart one of the two, though. She’s got the trappings or smarts: the cynicism, the preppy clothing. But I think Phoebe is clever in her own unique way. Not saying Phoebe is smarter than Puck, but … maybe equal yet different?
It doesn’t matter. What matters is if Puck buys that Phoebe thinks so.
