It was. And I used to watch that show on early morning broadcasts every day as a child. Great vintage television experience. They had Vincent Price on it because he used to live in the Hamilton area. I drive by his old house on the way to work every day. It’s a cool house.

Not a born-and-bred Canuck. He was born in Missouri. But in his fallow years, between his time as a huge horror star in the mid-century and his later 80’s renaissance when people like M.J. and Tim Burton resurrected his star in Hollywood, he retired to a sleepy suburb in the Hamilton area.
Not sure why. But it did happen.
Missouri? Cool, that’s where I live (though not where I was born). And, no joke, his first starring role was in a movie called “The Baron of Arizona”, which was based on the life of a real-life forger and swindler who happens to be my great-great-great-uncle (you can read about him on Wikipedia).
Also seems appropriate to mention that he played Vincent Van Ghoul in “The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo”.

One can assume he had taste and a vague feeling that a comic that kept it classy was going to be invented there. But mostly because he liked it. I’m sure it’s fine.
To be honest, the leafy village he settled down in (Ancaster) was quite picturesque and pleasant. At that time. Anyway. Now it’s become a Mecca for the nouveau riche to build their McMansions and it’s mostly been ruined, but back then it was a tiny town with stone architecture and lots of trees. It was a nice place to retire.
This is why my area is now about 60% seniors.

Actually I think he means Daphne has discovered her sexuality is a new way to mess with the heads of her pseudo parental figures for spits and giggles.
Not sure the parental torment angle is the goal. More that her perception of herself has shifted (slightly) in connection with Tyler as her actual boyfriend.
I think that Daphne has been taking tips from Hannah again. But I find it very difficult to look away.
I think that’s likely.
The upscale blind girl in the modest pastel clothing is a bad influence on Daphne, who is a bad influence on Tyler.

Daniel the Human says in order for Shaggy to not only catch a Great Dane (he also says his Brother had 1 and they’re “heavy, lovable lumps”) but also keep up with Scooby full pelt running, RUN pretty much AS fast CARRYING Scooby, he would easily be an Olympic level athlete! Even without that “Shaggy at 1% destroyed planet XXX” meme stuff, he WOULD be able to take on that biker gang if he had the confidence. Like, maybe, the confidence gained from hypnosis…

there’s Scooby (of course). Goofy (Mickey Mouse’ best friend), Pluto (Goofy’s pet), Marmaduke (newspaper comics), and Astro (the Jetson’s pet).
And that’s without really thinking about it.
I’m not a fan of the breed. Big, dumb, die early. Lovable, sure, but they’re better in comic form.

Yeah, everyone is saying that Daphne is Fred’s girlfriend, but I always felt like that was a fan assumption that was never established at all in the original show.

I haven’t heard anything about that. Sad if true. Though it’s unfortunately a bit of a pay-to-win system as it is, with certain comics obviously gaming the system with remote bot clicks. Not naming any names. But it’s long been a thing. All votes for Puck are 100% legit, though.
Lol I once had my husband write in our anniversary card with a picture of quark from star trek deep space nine”You are my greatest acquisition, my bar of gold pressed latinum.” And he got me some new ram for my computer and put”thanks for the memory.” I got him that year a thumb drive that was also one of the transformers from the 80’s cartoon Ravage. soooo adorkable is a word we embody lol.
