My takeaway from this page is that she assumed they were pillars, but they see themselves differently. 😛
…Also I couldn’t figure out a good metaphorical equivalent using “support net”. Do the main, thicker ropes of a fishing net have a proper name? I bet they do, but even if I looked it up, would most other people recognize the name either? Thus “pillars”

Though I did some research (cough, google search) and it seems the terms for the parts of fishing nets vary widely depending on the type and shape of the net. There’s no real across-the-board terms. Oh well. “Time well-wasted”, as the Comedy Channel used to say. 😛

Considering who her mother is/was and who raised her, her naivety and disposition is truly strange.
I knew a girl who was beautiful and alluring. Even her last name, Femenella, sounded sensual. In reality she was sweet and naive. She was very much like Phoebe. I think the name, Femenella might be a good (and alliterative) choice for Phoebe’s last name.
Maybe a middle name, but if it’s her last name, it would also be Satan’s last name. And that just seems ill-suited.
