According to the reality-shifting zoomers (and this IS a thing, no word of a lie), no physical impossibility or fantastical flight of fancy excludes a fictional universe from being real, and you can enter that reality through Tiktok-induced meditation. Or something like that.
Robert Anson Heinlein’s “The Number of the Beast”, and the more recently-released “The Pursuit of the Pankara” (the two novels are identical for the first few chapters, but RAH ended up writing two different books, and the second one would have been un-publishable in 1980). Both explain the multiple(infinite?)-universe thing very well.
Essentially, every “universe” imagined (The Oz books, The Martian Chronicals, the Lensman Saga, etc) actually exists a 90* dimensional twist from every other reality.
Sounds as good as any other explanation. And honestly, if the universe is actually infinite, then ALL possibilities that abide by the laws of physics can and do exist somewhere. In fact, multiple copies exist because they can’t not exist, mathematically.
Though we can never see these sections of the universe, nor access them. But it’s a thought.
Different universes can have different laws of physics. Any universe must abide by laws of LOGIC, but their physics may be VERY exotic.
And regarding the imagination … it’s not just any universe WE imagine exists. It’s also any universe someone from universe we imagined imagining … (the set of universes is closed under the operation of “imagining universe”).
This concept … is dumb. Just saying.

That Valentine’s Day attire is downright MODEST for Phoebe.
Knowing the area (fictional or not, I have to assume they are somewhere near Elmira) there isn’t a lot of “game” for large predators (half-decent deer population, but not nearly enough for a predator that big).
This makes me think that Dougie is, at the very least, omnivorous, if not purely vegetarian. Of course, I have had weeks to come up with this hypothesis. Puck and Colin have had about 2 minutes (at most) in comic-time… lol
It’s never about being revealing. It’s all about style.
And you’re right that a huge predator would likely struggle to make it in most corners of southern Ontario. But if you’ll remember the key rule of Scooby-Doo: the monster is never what it seems.
It’s a wise child that knows its parents, and from the look on her face, Miranda is the wisest on the planet!

Love the Alf stuffie in the vote incentive. But one wonders how Phoebe gets her tail out of her underwear.
Phoebe’s comfort object is ALF, so it felt right to include him. And yeah, the tail/undies thing usually requires altered undies that have a carefully placed hole. So you can order directly out of the Victoria’s Secret catalogue, but you’ll have to do some customization.

I’m under the impression that small children will focus on a specific parent in turn, much to the consternation of any other parent involved. I guess it’s Colin’s turn.
I haven’t seen the vote incentive yet. I’ve been concentrating on a video thing that’s not going to happen now. Ah well, I think they may be another way.

She would NOT be potty trained at this age. And that IS a reasonable question. Though I think the expression is more to do with the ‘parents running off’ thing.

The problem with dating Phoebe is she only will do it missionary style because she is rebelling against her up bringing.

It could be. Episcopalian priests-in-training go on mission which are basically extended public service projects. I once knew one who was going to JApan to teach literacy courses (In Japanese????). If Phoebe got a reputation for caring for elderly or running a daycare center or feeding the homeless, it could really hurt her dad’s cred.
