Almost done with this little mini-arc. For once it wasn't a lengthy narrative that took two years to tell. And coming up: another relatively short little episode that won't take too long to complete. How strange.
Oh, and some of you may be wondering, "Does an original Megatron in box really sell for $500?" And the truth of the matter is that Cy is pretty seriously undervaluing it. They regularly sell for closer to a grand. And if you're wondering whether I own one, I'd really not like to disclose that. (But yes, yes I do.)

That’s my G1 Decepticon collection. Most are mint official re-releases. The Megs is a 2007 Takara Encore official re-release, which is admittedly a little cheaper than a 1985 version, but still goes for north of $500 right now.
I had a lot of the G1 Transformers including Megatron and Optimus Prime, Starscream, etc. I was able to pay for a summer vacation with the proceeds from selling them many years ago. I see that I could probably have 2 vacations at their current value today. Although non of mine had the boxes anymore. I still have an original Bumblebee and the jaguar tape creature.
They can be worth money, but it all depends. Any of the ones I have from my own childhood were well-worn, partly broken or worse. Those ones are worth some but not much. And hey, if you got a good vacation out of them, they did their job.

Man, is that awesome.
Nice of Emily to leave just enough visible stitching in the tail to remind us that, yes, this is Emily cosplaying – not Emily who put used make up to draw stiches on her tail – like WW2 ingenues drawing stocking lines on the back of their legs – so we’d think her tail is not real – so we wouldn’t realize she’s a cat girl cosplaying a human cosplaying a cat girl.

It is a very specific area of knowledge that is entirely useless outside of a very particular crowd.
The voting incentive got me curious if Phoebe and Emily will ever combine their powers and take over the world.
This is not beyond the realm of possibility. Though maybe it’s best I don’t bring them together because it might reveal the fact that they’re very similar characters.

Also, re this week’s incentive. Fashion Devil Girl, sure. Absolutely. However, generic? Tacky? Not when Emily wears it! As an aside, I kinda ship her and Cy. Kinda, as I suspect they view each other as good friends only. Still, with Code Yellow around, Cy needs protection, and Colin . . . okay, he came through, and it wasn’t just beginner’s luck, however, as Cy said, Code Yellow is relentless . . . as is Daphne. Five hundred, it’s done. Five thousand, it’s done, with unbreakable alibis and you get to watch!
More on the Cy and Emily factor soon. Like, next comic. And Daphne can fix many problems. But probably not this one.
Maybe not, but it might be entertaining . . . . . actually, you’re right. Daphne has a criminal mind (A criminal mind, is all I’ve ever had, ask those who know me, am I really so bad? I Am!) but I fear The Bug-U B has the strength of ten, because her heart is pure. Pure what, I’m not saying, but for-sure pure!

I think I’m the one who is calling Phoebe tacky. So blame me. But I’m the one that also comes up with the outfits, so I guess it’s self-deprecating?
No, it’s just who Emily is. We all like her, but she does seem to hold a grudge and have a bit of a nasty streak. JUST a bit. At least where Phoebs is concerned.
Maybe this is all just a big misunderstanding. Maybe just a coincidence.
I think, rather, I was a little nuts when I wrote it. I think it was the revenge thing for Phoebe as a cat. I’m sure they’d get on. Phoebe is sweet and charming and if Emily’s like that too, I’m sure it’ll be fine.
Oh. For a moment, I thought he had a box of cheap stuff that he’d let people buy from for like five or ten dollars a piece. I was excited.

After doing a quick search, the only way to get Megatron in his original gun alt mode is either in that vitage form, or from Japan, since there are rules regarding toy guns in most of the world.
No, nowadays, Megatron’s alt modes are either a tank, a cybertronian jet, or a vtol. Which, if I might say myself, fits the character better than a size changing firearm.

Yep. Lots of tanks. Not many guns. The original Walter PPK mode is outright illegal to sell in the US. Walmart considered maybe stocking a brightly coloured version that could definitely not be mistaken as a real gun, but they reconsidered.

Multiple. And multiple criminals attempted to commit crimes using ol’ Megatron. Not smart criminals, mind you, but it did happen.
Point is, toy gun is not a great idea.
Though if you’re in Japan, where real guns (especially handguns) are functionally nonexistent, a highly realistic toy gun is about as threatening as a Nerf blaster, because no one would ever assume it’s real.

Gecko, you remember that Dunkachino t shirt that Daphne has? I saw a cereal from Dunkin Donuts, although we both know that it was called that, but now thanks to America’s Got Talent, it’s now just Dunkin.
And the cereal is Dunkin Caramel Macchiato. Soooo… would it be parody to make a parody commercial about Pacino hyping his favorite dunkacchino breakfast cereal for his favorite little pal? Most likely his grandkids I imagine.
Well, the Pacino Dunkin commercial was from the terrible Adam Sandler movie ‘Jack and Jill’. Though it’s gone on to have real legs as a meme. I really could see Pacino becoming an official Dunkin spokesman at some point. He likes money.
