Well, he and Colin look a bit alike in the same way that almost ALL my male characters look a bit alike, because I have limited art skills.
Eyes, nose, mouth , yeah, I get it.
I think it’s mainly the nigh-exact silhouette of the beard.
I can only draw one beard.

yeah, there´s only a tiny bit of shadow left on his horn….i wonder what´ll happen next, given his new couch-potato-lifestyle i´d say he´ll soon develop a paunch, but who knows? if his shadow can vanish, the horns might shrink or just fall off too….which leads me to two big questions: where is the shadow and the title of supreme evil overlord going to? and whats stopping tracee from going back to howlers – both to make money and to find a new sugar daddy. i mean, SHE is still hot!
Well, Tracee COULD go back to work at Howlers. But that would be work. It’s hard to work when you haven’t for a few years.

Kinda curious. Is this the way you have always drawn him and then you just shaded his face? So, you would have always known what he looked like or was this a new discovery for you as well?
Pretty much. The lines of this face are the same as the one in shadow.

He’s ALWAYS been old. At least as far as this comic has run. As Satan, I assume he’s been around since creation.

Nah, the horns won’t go anywhere. And he’s not turning good, per se. Just … less bad.

How did she wake up with perfect hair and makeup ?
There’s a reason I leave the closet door with the mirror on it slid open at night so it isn’t the first thing I see in the morning.
Well, her hair ISN’T perfect. You’ll see there are a few stray hairs out of place. And as the makeup, I just have a standard default coloration for each character and it’s hard for me to deviate.
One would think that she -may- have, I don’t know, touched his face in all the time she’s been with him?
Also, wrinkles don’t appear just on the face…

For the ears question, yes. They can emote with ears. For the ‘additional fantasy cast’ question, I feel like the comic is so crowded with characters right now, the last thing I should do is add more. Though that might not stop me.

I recently just discovered your comics but honestly I wish I found them way sooner. I’ve had to sit through a bunch of boring long winded business presentations at work recently and I like to look busy on my laptop, when I’m actually just catching up on all the puck lore for a good laugh. Curious to see where you take some of the new arcs you’ve introduced, I’m rather excited to see more of your work!

While I greatly appreciate the Strongbad ref, Satan’s voice is (in my head) much closer to J.K. Simmons’.
I knew it was coming, but I was not expecting his face to look like that.
Though, to be fair, the only other idea of what I thought he would look like would be Father from KND (from Operation ZERO).
Did you have any thoughts on doing a slow reveal, like from the mouth upward, or doing a Two-Face sort of look? Or was ripping the shadow from the face all at once the only way to go?

Yeah, he is! As far as Kiss is concerned, I don’t really like that band, but I admit, some bands I do like, like Cheap Trick, seem to like them. Weird, huh?
