This is the first appearance of Daphne’s consistent outfit with the ‘Gosh Kosh’ jeans and the backwards baseball cap.
The joke here was lost on some: another play on Puck’s terrible mothering skills. A decade later, I’m not even sure I totally get it. Funny how that kind of thing works out.

On Daphne’s first appearance, i assumed her clothes were inspired by the Chipmunks. Is that correct?
