As for this comic...
Fewer characters this comic, meaning a slightly easier drawing experience. Slightly. And hey, look! I didn't forget about Emily! Master storyteller here!

Us there going to be some explain to do either at headquarters or at home?
We’ll see. Some explanation but I don’t want to bog down the story with too much explanation. We’re not afraid to let details and story elements go unexplained here. Heck, we’re over a quarter century in and we still have no idea what Daphne is!
Daphne is a starter supervillain with a heart of gold, and probably a stash as well, and a joy of my life.
Even supervillains need to start somewhere.
Other than Puck’s daughter of course.
See the link!
Huh?
You said it Miranda. MEEOOOWW!
Getting catty about cat girls.
“I’m in trouble either way, so no.”
Precisely.
“MEOW!” is a very good Miranda warning!
It may not be required in Canada, but it doesn’t matter anyway – Colin’s too innocent to escape being found guilty
And he’s not even guilty!
Well, maybe a little guilty….
Very wise of Colin, which is no help at all!
Wisdom in the hands of a fool is no better than foolery.
Now that Emily’s made two new friends—well, acquaintances—she can now become the Raccoon Girl.
It’s a potential career change!
They may have a kid together and maybe sort of married, but somethings in a man’s life should not be said to his love. At the very least any reason made that would be understandable to said love.
Well, I’m this case, he has fully reasonable explanations, but Puck wouldn’t be listening.
The way Puck is eying Emily’s “tail,” she’s in the grips of the Green Eyed Monster. Since Puck is green eyed herself, Colin is doubly screwed, Even Daphne has her ears tucked back in fear.
Daphne has a new core memory of watching Puck knock a bitches head off not too long ago, which may affect her reaction.
Daphne knows when to be wary. And when to be afraid.
And a green-eyed monster is, of course, a cat. Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaaa!
I do not know if it is on purpose, but Emily’s tail is doing things in panel 4 that Puck is sure to notice. And that is not a red-head to trifle with.
I cannot speak of purpose, but I can speak of danger. And there’s a lot of danger.
*ducks and covers*
Ha! I love that answer. I’m sure Puck won’t, but that’s what makes it so goood!
Colin isn’t being brave here. He’s just being realistic.
I said I loved it, not that I admired it. It’s a great punchline.
Better to keep one’s mouth shut and be considered a philanderer than to open it and get a fist down your throat.
Believe it or not, I just noticed that Emily is looking a lot more raccoon than cat in that get up.
I think they call this ‘convergent evolution’ in biology circles.
Also, has there always been a “save your details” option or is that part of the redesign. Because it is super convenient.
There is? Huh. I didn’t even know that! I guess it’s part of the redesign.
I tend to disagree with the comments about panel 4, if you look at 1-2 you see the fold in his shirt is already there, so it doesn’t mean the fake tail is brushing against him. Though it is certainly what the artist intended us to think. I would think Puck would react far strongly if the tail was actually brushing against him.
I think people may be talking more about tail as in ‘rear end’.
In Puck’s defense Emily forgot to wear her skirt and is wearing a heavily fringed belt instead
All these wacky hijinks have given Satan himself a reason to pay for the wedding. I hear he rocks an amazing fruit basket
Puck and Colin’s soon-to-be marriage. Now sponsored by the Great Adversary, the (actual) Legions of Hell and Auntie Tracee
We need to see some of Puck’s relatives at the wedding for balance. Or mayhem
Knowing how the fair folk are traditionally depicted, I’m guessing the difference between a wedding and a riot for them is the guests didn’t have to buy their own booze
Maybe the author will wuss out and Puck will “forget” the invites
I’ve avoided giving people what they want for so long, I see no need to change my approach now. For decades, people have been asking for more fairies. Just not really where I want to go with it. If that is wussing out, then so be it.
Are you O.K. with us having ideas about what it would look like? ‘Cause I’m thinking more lower middle class and snarky comments.
I am okay with all forms of speculation.
Yay!
Emily isn’t really random, but perhaps Puck doesn’t want to hear why. :p
To Puck, she is random. To readers, not so much.
