Puck 107

Chapter: Convenient AmnesiaCharacters: Colin Daphne Phoebe PuckTags: baby maker faint pregnant
So here Phoebe freaks out. Panel two is, to my knowledge, the first Phoebe freak-out picture I’ve ever drawn. She freaks out rather well. And as a bonus, CHECK OUT PUCK AND PHOEBE’S HALLOWEEN COSTUMES! You’ll see a glorious picture of their highly disturbing Halloween getups. It’s creepy -- don’t say I didn’t warn you! Though this particular incentive pic isn’t available through voting on TWC, you can purchase the pic from the STORE! It’s only a buck for a set of five voting incentives! That’s what I call a deal!

I think I finally figured out what’s wrong with Phoebe’s nose. Together with her skin tone and horns it makes her look less demonspawn and more cowgirl.

Well, I do think that I need to slightly change how I draw Phoebe’s nose. I’m not going for a major overhaul, but there will be a minor change in the works. And in these older comics, the shading is a bit dark on the nose, so I see where you’re coming from.

      • I had noticed it when back when Phoebe made her first appearance in the reboot. I just thought it was supposed to be a shadow. Of course, I guess I should have noticed that the “shadow” never changed location nor shape. LOL.

It’s just supposed to be a shadow. It ends up looking less distracting in later comics. Part of the problem that I did (and still) struggle with is the fact that my graphics program always exports files with a slightly ramped up contrast. So shading that looked somewhat subtle when I was making it ends up looking very dark in the exported jpeg. It’s a problem.

Holy crap. You’re right. Good call.

I didn’t even notice, but now I can’t unsee it!

I’ma hafta turn in my critic card if I fail like this again.

      Nothing wrong with some cow-iness.

“It’s ok, the floor broke the fall” — I still chortle guiltily about that!
