As for this comic…
This really does happen, by the way. Nothing gives you an upper body workout like a baby. Not that it really worked for me, of course. My arms remained dumpy and flabby and Pilsbury Doughboy-ish, but my wife developed very impressive biceps from the constant lugging.
I personally believe that Colin spends a lot of time under the sink.
Well, same thing with ‘nude’, right? It is a color. Or is maybe a color, or maybe a fashion concept, or maybe something that starts arguments on the internet, so I’m not going to go there.
Hmm… typing actually does work the forearms though. That’s where the muscles that move your fingers actually are.
I concede a controller might not provide as balanced a workout for all fingers.
It’s a great melancholy song. And for a show that really was a pretty good show, all said and told. I mean, it grounded the concept of the Hulk in about as real a scenario as one could manage in TV at the time.

You can rest assured that if there is a superhero, there is probably a palette-swapped version of that superhero who is a villain. Which makes me wonder what Reverse Puck would look like.
Um . . . a male with blue hair and money, who lives in a million-dollar penthouse condo in Toronto? Who has an adopted human/cat son, a wife who is an award-winning scientist, and an eight-month-old son? Who is the secret owner of Canada’s Funderland and is the secret genius behind Snorfs?
Personally to Colin, it seems like he is in a poisonous relationship if he is hiding in fear from his spouse at even this display. It is classic abuse and was mentioned when he was in jail at Schnorf land that the only language the family unit understand is violence. It is not a healthy arena for a child either. Colin needs to escape soon likely with his child and seek help, or on his own and seek help and custody.
Well, if this were reality, I’d agree with you. But within the comic, we need to consider that Puck’s a big talker but seldom follows through. We’ve never seen her hit Colin ever, nor do I think he’s ever actually been hit. Also, as established in the comic, Colin is a huge coward.
I do, however remember her sticking a stalk of celery up his bum, the time she hung him over a balcony by his leg, and the time that she put the fine mayor of Hamilton in the hospital, so the fear is absolutely justified.
Let us not forget the defining statement of their relationship way back in college: “I have a hammer. Did I tell you I have a hammer?”
Yeah, I know, in each example, he kinda had it coming, and lets face it, the outlandish violent responses of Puck are what makes this comic great.
Well, I don’t think Miranda really had any lasting effects on her figure, so I think it’s a win/win scenario here. (And honestly, first kids tend to be less, er … shape-altering than the second or third kid. I remember an interview with Lucy Lawless back when she was on that Xena show. She said that getting back into the costume after her first kid required basically no effort. Getting into it after the second kid was a couple months of serious sweat and training. Getting into it after the third kid was well nigh impossible and took the better part of a year.
My wife’s experience certainly kind of supports that. She was back in her pre-maternity clothes a few days after giving birth with the first kid. Second kid took a number of months. And third kid, well, we’re not going down that road.
It’s quite similar with dogs, but with legs. Everyone around me wondered if I went on some diet because I slimmed down and developed my thigh/calf muscles – they were quite disappointed to find the secret was two hyperactive pups instead of a miracle drug or program. Let’s hope Puck never gets a dog or she’ll be unstoppable.
That’s cool! I … don’t know which Big Lou you refer to (the rapper? the insurance company?) but I assume, given the fact that his name contains the word ‘big’, that his opinion is a weighty one.
Oh, THAT Big Lou! Now it totally makes sense. And if Lou Ferrigno gives me the thumbs up, I feel very proud. I might hide behind the couch like I did as a kid when watching the Incredible Hulk while feeling the pride, but it’s pride nonetheless.
