“You ae learning well little grasshopper.”
I could actually see this experience bringing up more babysitting jobs in the future.

  • SalemCat

Cm’on – We all want to see those two hug !

  • Lokitsu

Miranda is adorable- especially because its not MY tablet that she’s finger painting with bananas. Tracee has really grown on me during this arc; and not just because she’s rocking the dirty babysitter look.

    • ElectricGecko

That’s how you REALLY do mixed media with a tablet. But I’m glad this little side story is working for you.

  • I’m grudgingly developing respect for Tracee, although not sure whether she’s giving Miranda a play opportunity or using the kid to get revenge on Satan.

  • I can assume the second word on the jar is “banana,” but “ebeh?” Don’t know the brand…last time I was familiar with baby food jars I was too young to read them.

There is an amusing anecdote told of the tribes in New Guinea.

Missionaries gave them Canned Corn – they loved it !

Missionaries gave them Canned Peas – they loved it !

Missionaries gave them Baby Food – they refused every last jar.

You see, cans of Corn and cans of Peas will always have full-color pictures of the contents.

Yet years ago most Baby Food looked like THIS.

    • ElectricGecko

The Gerber baby food company encountered that problem in many world markets, according to legend.

    • Commander Clash

Apparently the portrait picture is supposed to be Humphrey Bogart as an infant.

      • SalemCat

        @Commander Clash

        A wise choice.

Far better than Abraham Lincoln as a babe (shudder).

(I’m pretty sure he was born with the weird-beard and stove-pipe hat)

  • JJR

    Awwww they are bonding.

  • Sorry to sound like a broken record, Gecko, but … I really do like this side of Tracy. ^_^

Heh. Also, this is a fun way for a child’s innocence to render the Evil One powerless.

  • Frank Harr

Oh, that’s right, Satan’s in this comic.

Heh! That’s what you get for abandoning someone with a baby! You get bananaed!

I guess the question, ultimtely, is was there a real emergency or did he just ditch two innocent adults to the mindless assaults of a baby? A cute one at that!

It’s going to be fun finding out!

    • ElectricGecko

In this “Gecko bites off more than he can chew” story arc, I find myself constantly in the position of reminding people that certain characters are still in this comic.

  • Marcia Wilson

Let the world tremble. The enemies have bonded.

  • Buggle

    *chef’s kiss*

  • ChrisH

Traces actually looks like she’s enjoying herself! Amazing! She must have tried some of that banana baby food. Mmmm, so delicious!

  • Frank Harr

I like how Satan isn’t looking at his screen but rather the babyfood in on Mirana’s side of things.

  • MSG Bob

“Tracee! Where are are you?” Error or does Satan sometimes stutter, EG?

    • ElectricGecko

Total error. And thank you so much for catching it so I can correct. Would you believe that I read over the comic five times, my wife read it, and it was up for many days before anyone commented? For some reason, some of these errors are hard to spot.

    • SalemCat

This error that MSG Bob so astutely noticed can still be seen on Puck’s PATREON Page.

It’s well worth the $1 a month to see this – and so much more.

It may even still contain the infamous episode where it is shown, quite clearly, that when it comes to TRACEEE the Drapes don’t match the Carpet !

  • demarion

Now Miranda has Tracee on her side. As I’ve said, we are looking at the future Empress of Earth here.

    • demarion

Which, for the record, I’m totally fine with.

    • Lokitsu

Hmmm… Puck for a mother, Daphne for a big sister and “Aunt Tracee” for a babysitter. Yeah, we might as well welcome our future Overlady.
At least Aunt Phoebe might temper Miranda enough so that we get a benevolent dictator.

    • ElectricGecko

Cute kids get everyone on their side. The catch is to check back when they’re twenty-five. People tend to lose lots of fans by then.

  • TheMOUSE

I would say Tracee wants a kid now, but the whole nine months of disfiguring growth and having to actually give birth… yeah, that’s just not her.

    Now adoption… hmm…

    • ElectricGecko

Tracee is just starting to round the corner of the ‘kids are the worst thing in the universe’ block and is taking her first steps into a different neighborhood. There’s lots of steps to go from where she is to “I want a kid of my own.” LOTS of steps.

  • Lrdofh8

I have to agree with a comment made the last time we saw Tracee; the soccer mom look is sexy as hell on her.

  • SalemCat

What’s with the PIPES & PLUMBING Satan is surrounded by ?

    Mommie’s Basement ?

    • ElectricGecko

Well, he DID say that monkey bears were attacking the sewage treatment plant. So maybe an ounce of truth?

      • SalemCat

        @EG

Satan was telling the TRUTH ?

        !!!!

Wait ’til his boss hears about that.

      • SalemCat

        @EG

We desperately need pics of these “Monkey Bears”.

Are they to be avoided ? Or encouraged.

        Are they Canadian ?

        Are they tasty ?

        so confused.

        as always.

        • ElectricGecko

I may attempt to visually present them. I really wish I had the artistic skills of Ethan Nicolle, creator of Bearmaggedon, who has depicted many, many insane bear crossbreeds. But I can only hope to approach his abilities.
