As for this comic...
I can note, as a person who has supervised many, many proms, that there has never been a prom in the 21st century that did not play "Cha Cha Slide" for at least a minute or two. It is weirdly omnipresent, while other earlier dance sequence songs have faded. "YMCA" is rare anymore. "The Macarena" is hit or miss; sometimes they play it, sometimes they don't. But "Cha Cha Slide" always shows up. I feel that this is yet another example of our society crumbling as time goes on. Like after everything falls apart and Mad Max drives away from the charred ruins of society, the "Cha Cha Slide" will be playing from some speaker somewhere, and no one will be left to dance.
On a happier note, my wife commented that panel three is a really nice drawing of Daphne. And I actually agree. Panel three is a really nice drawing of Daphne. Sadly, really nice drawings with me are never anything more than happy accidents. One day I truly hope to be able to intentionally draw really nice drawings, but until that day, I'll just keep waiting for lightning to strike every now and then.

Michael Buble is a curse upon the face of the planet. I hate him and his annoying soda water endorsements. Though I actually do like the soda water. The cherry one is awesome.

He gets one accidental point in his favor. James@war spoofed “I just haven’t met you yet” with “I just haven’t killed you yet” about Dexter. And that was pretty good.
So.. in the “exists to be spoofed” category. Which exists beneath the “so bad, it’s good” category. Since people wouldn’t watch the original.

“Death Stare Daphne”, this from a girl who has “creepy blank look” down pat.
Ok, yes, that’s mean, I know she’s blind. But seriously, the look from the shadows in panel 1 IS creepy.
I have to admit that I kinda leaned into the creepy on panel one. Just for fun.

For a moment I got confused and thought that your wife had said that panel three is a really nice drawing of Hannah, which wound have been strange, but yeah, it is a good one of Daphne. One might even think, looking at it, that she was a decent person!
Thankfully, we know better.
First Tracee, now Hannah? This arc is completely undermining my beliefs that blondes are shallow and brainless.
Well, I felt this comic was just generally getting a little down on blondes. After the whole ‘Puck turns blonde evil’ thing, I felt I needed to course correct. Just a little.
Actually, panels 2,3 and 4 are all very good pictures of Daphne- her changing expressions are great and flow really naturally. Panel 1 btw is a great drawing of Hannah. You can tell she’s psyching herself up to talk to Daphne. Your art has really improved since the early days EG- don’t sell yourself short.

Agreed! Daphne’s ears are an excellent example – they often hold the key to her expressions, as you may expect from a part-canid.
Don’t read too much into it. Even Belkar occassionally approves / appreciates his fellow Sticks.

During the first of my nine lives, CHECKERS was invented.
This would have occurred much earlier, but it had to wait until GRAVITY was popular (before gravity the little red and black discs would just fall off the board).
That said, D&D arrived far too late for me – my brain was full.
So I did read a few episodes of “Order of the Stick”, and was totally baffled by it all.

Well, I thank you for the vote of confidence on the drawing front. Some of them are nicer than others, but I’m glad if you say that most of them are acceptable, at the very least.

Not just proms. I’ve been to quite a few weddings in the past year, and every single one has had the Cha Cha Slide. And I’m still a terrible dancer.
Well, that’s why those songs are so popular: you don’t need to know how to dance to participate. I mean, most of the moves are hopping.
Even the Electric Slide has fallen by the wayside? My first girlfriend would weep, because she LOVED that song. 🙁
I will honestly admit that the Electric Slide has fallen so far by the wayside that I was not even familiar with its existence. Though this may be a regional thing. I listened to the song on Youtube and I can honestly say that I have never once heard that song in my life. Ever.
