You mean CBC1, CBC2 and CBC3? (Just kidding. They can barely run one CBC, let alone multiple.)
Whatever you get in the States, we generally get up here. Once upon a time there were more restrictions, but the government kinda gave up on those and now there’s basically nothing but American content everywhere and Canadian content is all but dead.

There are some great Canadian shows. But they’re endangered. And if the current leader of the Conservative party gets in, he fully plans to defund the CBC and cut all cultural funding that (in part) allows any of those shows to exist. So they’re all living on borrowed time right now.
That’s kind of a bummer. It’s only later in life that much of the good content I grew up on was actually imported from Canada.
Your childhood probably lined up nicely with the post-1967 Canadian content Renaissance. ‘67 was the Montreal Expo AND the country’s centennial and after that, there was this huge cultural groundswell of Canadian identity where we all said, “Damnit, we’re our own country and we’re great!” It was also an era of huge government subsidy for the arts, which spawned tons of great television and animation.
But that era is over. The funding is long gone. And most Canadians that work in media have to either directly target American audiences and hope for a shred of success with a tiny budget, or just farm their services out to American companies. There’s lots of shows and movies filmed in Canada. But they’re made by American companies and set in America.
Hence that wonderful Shot in the Scott Pilgrim movie where Chris Evans throws Michael Cera through a backdrop of the New York skyline featuring the Empire States building, only to expose the real CN Tower right behind it. Bit of an industry in joke there.

I am slowly beginning to suspect that this entire storyline is the author’s attempt to resolve the age-old question: who is more sexy, Daphne or Velma?
This would be a worthy endeavour even if the answer is: it depends on who’s playing the part.
There is no answer to that question. But it’s still fun to ask.

I personally think that nothing is on Oak Island. But if people want to make it their life’s work to find non-existent treasure, I won’t stop them.

To her credit, a poopy shoopy takes a great deal of thought and planning to execute. You don’t want to… mess it up.
