I’m just amused that last year’s Halloween plot may still be running by this coming Halloween.
Well, this is why I was fairly insistent that this wasn’t a Halloween plot, and totally divorced it from the holiday because I knew this would happen. This is also why I almost never do anything seasonal. And why it’s never winter in the comic.

You know, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen Scooby-Doo, so I don’t know if it’s actual dialogue from the show. I kind of hope it is.
It’s not lifted from the show. The dialogue from the old show was very … distinct, shall we say? It wouldn’t be very believable or sound very natural coming from these characters.
Okay I’ll ask. Where’s Scrappy in this picture? Or is that the setup?
Nah, a few people have asked that, but Miranda is just in her car seat. She’s only not visible because she’s tiny and you can’t see her car seat in the back row. I can’t really get a good shot angle that shows all six characters in this van, unfortunately.

Also, out of curiousity, can Phoebe cross her fingers? I mean, she is the daughter of Satan . . . See, in the fourth panel for a moment I thought she was, but it’s a crooked finger only, so I’m wondering . . .
You know what? I never even realized that crossing one’s fingers was a religious thing. Though it’s obvious, now that I think about it. And given that, I think she’d be able to but probably would refrain out of respect for her family background.
