Sounds like a good reason for Tyler to move into the basement and rent it from Puck.
The basement of Puck’s house is pretty creepy. Definitely the last possible option.

I guess Tyler didn’t count on the fact that it’s uber late, and everyone’s tired. but they’ll take him home in the morning.

Does anyone remember Ty’s cover story? IIRC he’s not supposed to be seeing Daphne at all. Did he tell his mom he was going out with the Math Club to study calculus?

I’d suggest he just moves in with Daphne and they get married, but I neither want to look up Canadian age-of-consent laws, nor want to go back and determine what their ages are.

When you’re talking about pretty much any Canadian under the age of 25, the answer to “Can you drive a stick?” is invariably “No.”

She’s holding some kind of tart. As a Canadian, it’s probably a butter tart. Because she’s the Queen of Hearts. She has a thing for tarts.
As to Abject Failure, it may be a mining camp ghost town somewhere in The Ring of Fire, near Eabametoong, as I vaguely remember.

If you’re gonna hang with the delinquents, you best get used to coming home late, or the next day. And seriously think again if you think you’re gonna guilt them into wasting more of their time taking you home when they’re tired. You chose to go out too. You being out is on you.
His parents can be happy he’s coming home the next day. And not several days later, like mine got used to. Whether they liked it or not.
Course, I was the one driving ppl. So I wasn’t in his shoes. I was the one who didn’t care once I was done driving. I’m sleeping now, not falling asleep driving and rolling into the ditch. That was my younger brother. < 36 hours after getting his license, writing off MY car.

Bus. Probably. Though it should be noted that in my terrible city, the bus stops running before midnight. Looks like he’ll have to get a cab.
You’d think he’d have well-hashed reasons for being late.
Some people are just born to tell the truth and have a hard time lying. I feel that’s the case with Tyler.

I thank you. The Canada Day celebrations have really gone the way of the dodo since the country decided it hates itself, but at least Americans can buy up all the fireworks we didn’t use for three days later.
