It’s surprising how many food taste good with peanut butter on them.
Adding ketchup as well as peanut butter, however, is a crime against nature.

Tomato paste? I don’t like the texture. Feels like I’m cooking with red wallpaper adhesive.
When I was making speghetti sauce, I used crushed tomatoes.
The judges will accept puree, crushed tomatoes, or even spaghetti sauce in a pinch. The general idea is that catchup is generally the worst choice in the universe of goopy tomato products. Whatever sweetener and thickener they add takes away from the tomato-y goodness!
Heat transforms tomato paste into something less wallpapery pasty.
However, tomato paste for ketchup is very intriguing.
I may have to put this to the test.

Improvisational cooking – it’s a nice skill to have. One I practice whenever I get leftovers.
Improvisational cooking has it’s drawbacks… Sometimes you get something really really good, and can never recreate the magic of the first batch, other time you get abominations that have been condemned by the UN as crimes against humanityl

Tortilla chips and peanut butter————strangely appeals. I mean, it could be like when chocolate and peanut butter were accidentally mixed . . . the ketchup however seems that little bit too far.
I have combined ketchup and peanut butter before in a pseudo-Thai sauce. Not bad.
You want authentic Mexican flavor you need salsa…or at least some spice to it. Ketchup doesn’t work.

I love the vibrant background color changes. Mood lighting in the household?
Maybe? The colors in the comic are (in my mind, anyway) non-diegetic and only there to visually spice things up. But I guess it could just be a colorfully lit world full of LED strips everywhere.
I’ve been told ketchup is bad for you. I guess it’s because it’s made with sugar. But I also guess Satan loves bad things. So this situation actually makes sense. It’s the high quality writing that keeps me reading this webcomic. 🙂
Ketchup is, I believe, usually half liquid sugar. Good stuff for your teeth.
