1st of all, congratulations on your son’s graduation. 2nd of all, this wedding’s gonna be a disaster, before it even gets started.
Disaster is the ultimate goal.
i´m callin git now: tracee is going to turn into one of these nightmarish wedding planers/maid of honors that micromanage everything with zero input or care what the couple actually wants…..unless puck snaps and unleashes her own furious temper. now *that* would be the most epic showdown since godzilla vs king kong!
Well, we shall see. There will be complications, of course. But that’s for a future story arc. We’re just laying the groundwork here.

Secondly, A late fall/early winter wedding would be great for Puck and her family to have.

My son’s sense of humour is … not in alignment with Puck, sadly. He has always been happy to remain thoroughly unaware and uninvolved. Probably for the better.

The song says “it’s like raa-aa-in on your wedding day” but that song always bugs me, it isn’t irony, not in the least, it’s just a Maritime summer.
I think it’s “like rai-ee-ain on your wedding day.” There’s a hard ‘e’ in the middle.
I think it’s like “whine–nails on chalkboard–dumb lyric by someone who doesn’t know the meaning of ‘irony’–whine” 🙂 The song is pleasing to listen to the melody is quite nice and if you don’t listen to the lyrics, just the way they’re delivered, it’s not offensive but it’s certainly not ironic.
I grew up with many friends singing, in happy tones, “I’ve been through the desert on a horse with no name. It was good to get out of the rain. In the desert, they(?) can’t remember your name, for there ain’t no one for to give you no name”

The constant bellyache about “Ironic” failing to get the Merriam-Webster standard definition of “Irony” correct is for amateurs.
Rain on your wedding day isn’t ironic. Unless you’re marrying a weather forecaster and THEY choose the date with the assurance there’d be no rain.
Maybe they should elope.

I found it disillusioning about my teachers when I found “Heart of Darkness” was something that actually happened, minus the plot and characters.

Well, everyone has fangs in this comic. And his shirt says “GreedO is Good”, so … that changes things.
IIRC, Colin’s family is rather conservative Christian, but I can’t remember if there was ever a denomination mentioned.
Puck’s family worship much older gods, and at least three of them could be considered gods themselves (if Mab, Oberon, and Titania are in this universe).
