Puck 83

Chapter: Convenient AmnesiaCharacters: Colin PuckTags: amnesia lava lamp mr smacky university
So Colin finally puts something on, primarily because his shirtless nature was starting to make me feel uncomfortable. After expressing a desire for Puck's nightie as seen in previous strips, my wife now informs me that the garment is too short to be practical. "If it's that short," she says, "it'll ride up in bed and you'll be wearing it as a scarf by morning." Obviously Puck was not thinking of this when shopping for sleepy-time clothes. The hammer (first seen in strip fourteen) returns and now has a name. For some reason, I found the concept of a hammer named Mr. Smacky funny. Oh, and those with good eyes will note that the lava lamp makes a reappearance as well. (The lava lamp's name, as revealed in strip six, is Mr. Bubbles. Pattern? What pattern?)

I don’t think time travel works that way, Colin. Good idea, though. Most of my friend, myself included as well, would be thinking the same thing. “Go back to a time when the worst thing we had to deal with was getting a paper or project on time, have three months off each year and vacations for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Spring, and drunken debauchery? Where do I sign?” 🙂

Because time travel doesn’t actually work AT ALL, it can work however you want it to in your fantasy constructs!

I have invented a machine that takes me FORWARD in time.

Oh, it works, alright. All too well.

What’s more, it seems to be taking EVERYONE ELSE forward with me.

      Sorry guys – my bad.

    Hi ElectricGecko,

I’m a massive fan! What a series! Your sense of humour is spot on and it really gets my goat moist and ready for action.

    Have a wonderful day,

    Kiss my ass.

My girlfriend actually likes the shorter nighties vers the long ones as the long ones she says wrap around her legs. I guess it all depends on the person and how they sleep.
