The scene where Alex gets out of the mad-house and goes back to his parents home… The decoration there… the wallpaper… it looks exactly like that style. Like it has gone right beyond bad and hit that perfect level of “so bad its good” that it is “so awful its awesome”.
The only appropriate response to a dress like that is “… YES!” … It may even be above the level of “YES!” I experienced when I decided to do grocery shopping while mummified in toilet-paper and selotape.
I have literally no fashion sense. Ever choice in clothing I have EVER made has been based entirely on how the pants fit or what was written on the shirt, yet even I am horrified by that thing. For the first time in my life, I can look at an outfit and say with certainty “Yep. That is ugly.” Congratulations.
That first speech bubble in the second panel makes me shiver. Why is it that Puck knows anything about the house before she lived there? What happened to her Amnesia?
Yeah, I … uh … blanked on that one. We can only assume that various bits of knowledge have returned to her over time, whenever the plot requires it. You know, just like all fictional amnesia.
Thanks. I have fun with them. I’ve never really gone the ‘print and sell them’ route just because the printed-to-order shirt world is just too expensive, and I don’t have the time or energy to print them myself and sell them. But I kind of want to.
I’d like to add my vote to that thought; whatever way you decide is best to go about it, I am confident that many of those shirts would sell. Just think of it as a little extra lava-lamp money…

man, you’d hate the way i dress!!! i think people put up with it because i flaunt it shamelessly. to me, there’d really be nothing wrong with that dress if not for those awful patches (i assume the curtain had some badly placed holes?). I’d probably toss the frills too :p
Like you know the curtains were whole and unblemished before Puck got them out of storage, and she stuck those patches on not to fix up holes in the fabric, but just for the hell of having patches on it! It is like the ultimate in Hipster Chic!

Daphne could have sewed her a great dress from that. Possibly though not using any piece of the material at all, but I don’t want to tell a professional what to do.

I think that pattern IS something I saw in my grandmother’s house.
